China Rubber Industry Association Annual Meeting December 9, 2015 Sam Visaisouk, CEO, Tyromer Inc., is pleased to announce that he and Professor Costas Tzoganakis attended the annual meeting as guests of the China Rubber Industry Association (CRIA) in Shanghai.

In May 2015, CRIA announced self-disciplinary standards for its members to “eliminate high-polluting processes and the use of hazardous chemicals such as coal tar”. Professor Costas Tzoganakis was invited to give a technical presentation on the Tyromer supercritical carbon dioxide extrusion technology for rubber devulcanization. The presentation was well received and the CRIA members requested CRIA to plan a tour of the Tyromer production plant in Kitchener, Ontario.
