Statement of 2016 Church Contributions The parish will send out a statement of your contributions by the end of January. Note that it is not necessary to request it. Your will receive your statement in the mail by the end of January.

Heartfelt Thanks To the parishioners of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, we extend our sincere “thank you for your many thoughtful expressions of regard. You are most kind. May the child Jesus bless all of you abundantly throughout the New Year, Know that you will be in our prayers. Yours in Christ - Fr. Walter and Fr. Dennis

Celebration of Three Kings Next Sunday the Church will celebrate the Epiphany (Manifestation) of the Savior to the world outside of Judaism. The Hispanic Community names this day “Tres Reyes” or Three Kings. This is the traditional major feast of the Christmas Season in Latino countries. Our local community will celebrate with a potluck dinner in the parish hall following the Spanish Mass. The young children present will receive a gift “from the 3 Kings.”

SEAS Women’s Group There is a wonderful group of women that meets each Thursday from 6pm to 7:30 pm in the downstairs Rectory Meeting Room. Each woman brings her personal gifts for building up one another. We study a variety of Scriptural topics, pray together and sing, are creative and enjoy our fellowship. Our goal is to grow spiritually and to reflect God’s unconditional love. Soon we will begin a discussion of a new Catholic book, The Heart of Holiness – Friendship with God and Others, by Fr Gary Lauenstein. We would love to have you join us. Please contact Joan Santalucia at 450-0583 or [email protected] or simply show up. Making a Will? When you are in the process of preparing your Last Will and Testament, please keep the needs of your parish in mind. Our legal title is “St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church Society of Dunkirk, New York.” Normally it is better not to stipulate masses in your will since Mass Stipends are intended for the celebrant and will not benefit the parish.

What is a Memorial Donation? If you wish to remember a deceased friend or co-worker, there are two choices. You might request that a mass be offered for the soul of the departed. Alternately, you might decide to make a donation to the parish in the name of that person. In both cases, we publish the name of the deceased and of the donor in the bulletin.
