For over 20 years, CHRISTIAN MCBRIDE has appeared in numerous musical settings with just about any musician

imaginable in the jazz as well as R&B and pop worlds. From playing with the likes of Milt Jackson, Roy Haynes, Chick

Corea, Herbie Hancock and Pat Metheny; to playing with and/or arranging for the likes of Isaac Hayes, Chaka Khan, Lalah

Hathaway, Sting and the legendary James Brown—what has always been unique about McBride is his versatility. In addition

to his work in the neo-soul arena with The Roots, D’Angelo, Queen Latifah and others, the Philadelphia native has also led

his own ensembles: The Christian McBride Band, A Christian McBride Situation, his most recent group, Inside Straight and

with his acclaimed Trio featuring drummer Jerome Jennings and pianist Christian Sands.

The career of DAVID SANBORN has threaded him through some killer groups and sharing the stage with equally amazing

artists. He joined the Butterfield Blues Band and was at Woodstock with them. Following that, Dave toured with Stevie

Wonder and recorded for Wonder’s Talking Book album, played with The Rolling Stones, and toured with David Bowie with

whom he recorded the famous solo heard on “Young Americans”. At the same time, Dave was touring and recording with

the great Gil Evans, dividing his time between the two. After Dave started his solo career he collaborated with such artists

as Paul Simon and James Taylor. In his over three-and-half decade career, which includes Grammy Awards, chart-topping

albums and the hit single, “Seduction”, Dave has always pushed the boundaries, and he continues to do so today.
