LIVING IN PEACE

From Foreigners to Friends

• Foreigners � Gentiles had no hope of a Messiah,

or a Savior� God promised to bless the Jews

(Genesis 17:7-9)� They weren’t meant to keep God to

themselves.

From Foreigners to Friends

• Friends � God sent Christ to bring a new

promise • This was always God’s plan (Jeremiah

31:31-34)� Now anyone can draw near to God and know

that he is their Messiah.

One Humanity • Peace is Equality � The Children of Israel failed their

mission� they became prideful and kept the

message for themselves. • This is no different than what God asks of

you and I!

� Christ came to end the separation. • He created an equality of all (Galatians

3:26-28)

One Humanity • Peace is Access� The Best peace that Christ

provided was the peace between us and God • we have the ability to stand before

God forgiven and righteous. (Romans 5:1-2)

One Family • The Family of God� It’s LIFE CHANGING!� you are being trained to be a

dwelling of God. • You become like God as you grow • It’s as if there’s a family resemblance

� You’re now a member of a household.• Christ is your heavenly father

One Family • Living in Peace � It can be overwhelming to realize

that the Spirit of God dwells inside of you. • And THAT you are slowly being

changed to become more like Christ.

� Remember, change is a process. • Don’t be discouraged if things don’t

change all at once.
