In Poland, Christmas is the most awaited and important holiday. Handling them 25 and 26

December. It is a family holiday that we spend with loved ones. One of the traditions

is dressing the Christmas tree. It is decorated with baubles, candys,

gingerbreads and lights. It is a beautiful decoration no Christmas.

Christmas Eve24 of December

In Poland, according to tradition, Christmas Eve begins with the "first star in the sky”. Table

covered with a white cloth and placed under the hay. Always at the table left is one vacancy for

an unknown guest. Beautiful custom is the sharing of the wafer and good wishes. On

Christmas Eve table is twelve dishes.

An important habit is singing Polish carols. Often placed under the tree are gifts that bring the Child,

an angel or Santa Claus. In the tradition of the Polish Christmas Eve is the habit of walking on the Midnight Mass, or Mass celebrated at midnight of

24 on December 25.

Christmas25 and 26 of December

In Poland, Christmas lasts two days. December 25 is the day of the birth of Jesus. It is a day spent in the family circle of loved ones. An important moment of the day is Christmas

dinner. Children enjoying the Christmas gifts and are waiting for the snow to stick festive

snowman. Me and my family really like Christmas.
