Day 1 Fly to London Leave the United States on overnight flight to London !Day 2 London Arrive and meet your hosts at the airport. Take the Underground to your hotel. A sightseeing boat trip on the River Thames from

Westminster Dock to Tower Hill presents an overview of the spectacular sights in London. Tour the Tower of London with a Beefeater and see the Crown Jewels. Ride the red double-decker bus to St. Paul’s Cathedral.Dinner at the Gourmet Burger Kitchen.


!!Day 3 Oxford Leave early for Oxford on the train Visit the Eagle and Child (the pub affectionately known as the “Bird and Baby”) where the the Inklings, the famous group of writers, met A tour of The Kilns where C. S. Lewis lived. Trinity Church where Lewis worshipped Tour Magdalen College, where Lewis lectured, and stroll along Addison’s Walk where he became a theist. Enjoy a hearty dinner of fish and chips at a local pub. Return to London!!!!!!


!!Day 4 LondonVisit All Souls, Langham Place: the church led for many years by the Rev. Dr John Stott Travel by Underground to St. James’s Park to walk through this beautiful park and see Buckingham Palace, the London residence of HRH Queen Elizabeth II Visit Westminster Abbey for EvensongGo to the Speaker’s Corner, where current topics are debated and discussed Dinner at an Italian Restaurant!

Day 5 London Visit Wesley’s Chapel where John and Charles Wesley lived and preached, and where many of Charles Wesley’s hymns were composed Walk to Bunhill Fields, the Nonconformists’ cemetery on the opposite side of the road where we will see the graves of such famous people as John Bunyan who wrote Pilgrims Progress and Isaac Watts who wrote hymns such as Joy to the World and O God Our Help in Ages Past


!!Next stop is The National Gallery for a look at centuries of magnificent art. Followed by: Shopping on Oxford Street and dinner at a Spanish Restaurant, and a night out at a London Theatre! !Day 6 London Begin the day with tours of Spurgeon’s Tabernacle.and the Imperial War Museum, including Children of the War exhibit. Afternoon at the British Museum Dinner at Wetherspoons! !

Day 7 Cambridge Today we will take the train to Cambridge and begin the day with Ranald Macaulay as he presents Recovering the Past. This is part 1 of Rekindling the Vision, a series showing the influence of Christianity on the learning and the intellectual and moral foundations of Europe and the USA. In the afternoon Christian Heritage will give a guided tour of church history in Cambridge. Dinner at Pizza Express Return to London !!!!!!

!Day 8 London After breakfast, we will take a cruise boat to Greenwich where we will visit the Maritime Museum and then take a walk to the top of the hill from where GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) is measured. After visiting the Museum of Time we will make our way back to the boat and to Westminster !

We will have a Christian Heritage walk around St. Pauls Cathedral before attending Evensong Crossing the bridge we will visit the London Eye (supplementary) Dinner will be at La Tasca !


Day 9 Cambridge To Cambridge by rail. Start the day with Parts II and III of Rekindling the Vision: Part II: Challenging the Present – highlighting relevance of Christianity and engaging world views Part III: Shaping the Future – developing well- grounded confidence in Christian truths. Afternoon of free time visiting the backs or punting on the Cam River, and a chance to shop Dinner at ASK Leave for London on evening train !Day 10 Fly Home!!!
