Build a church bird house
with a metal roof and assorted designs.
Church Bird House Instructions
Material-- 3/4 x 4 x 4" wood for two sides 3/4 x 5 x 6 1/2" wood for two ends 3/4 x 5 x 8" wood for bottom 1/2 x 6 x 2" wood for steeple 1/2 x 1 x 7" for front of bottom Cabinet door handle Ornament for front 1 1/4" finish nails 8 1/4 x 7" metal for roof 4--1" drywall screws
wire for hanging ivory paint gold paint
Tools-- Saw 7/8" drill bit 3/16" drill bit Metal shears Hammer
Instructions--
Paint steeple gold. Nail the steeple to front end, 3 1/2" above the roof peak. Nail the 2 ends and 2 sides to the base and to each other. Nail the front piece to the bottom. Drill a 7/8" hole in the front end approx. 2 1/2" from the bottom. Paint the bird house with ivory paint. Drill four 3/16" holes and cut slot with metal shears in metal roof per drawing. Install with four screws. Install a cabinet door pull and any ornament of your choice. Saw out cross from 1/4" wood. Paint white and nail it to the steeple. Attach hanging wire to 2 diagonally opposite roof screws.
