Jesus Christ and to equip and mobilize them for ministry.

WORSHIP CELEBRATION
PRELUDE JoEllyn Zenisek
GREETING
OPENING HYMN “Majesty” No. 176
AFFIRMATION OF FAITH No. 881
I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; and in
Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord: who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pon7us Pilate, was crucified, dead,
and buried; the third day he rose from the dead; he ascended into heaven,
and si9eth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he
shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the
holy Chris7an church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the
resurrec7on of the body, and the life everlas7ng. Amen.
HYMN OF PRAYER “Have Thine Own Way, Lord” No. 382
PASTORAL PRAYER...LORD’S PRAYER
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into tempta7on, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the
kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

the canon, Esther is an amazing narra7ve complete with tragedy and triumph.
You'll encounter intrigue, ambiguity, and excess, all in theatrical form. Esther
calls us to think beyond our individual lives. The book provides a greater and
more awe inspired view" (of God's ac7vity in human history) "that will
strengthen our individual lives and deepen our personal rela7onships with God."
