Dear Parishioners,
It’s hard to believe that summer is one-half over. We welcome Father Samy back from
his vacation and hope he had an enjoyable time. He kept busy on some of his weekends by
traveling to the Diocese of Albany to make mission appeals for his diocese in India.
By the way, last week’s letter from me had an incorrect figure for our mission appeal.
The reference read $42.00 which was the money that came late. Our total figure was
$3,438.00. Father Keeney’s office sent a grateful acknowledgment and I send you one also.
Our Annual Catholic Appeal is within reach of its goal. Thanks to the 211 donors so
far, we will soon be working for the benefit of the parish. I appreciate your sacrifices.
Let’s pray for each other,
Msgr. Kevin B. Noone
P.S. Our figures have been adjusted because some pledges that were made from Our Lady of
the Angelus Parish in Rego Park were originally credited to us. Pledge to be paid - $9,743.75.
Goal: $99,584.00 Pledged: $108,627.00 Paid: $98,983.25 Donors: 211
