BULLETIN DEADLINE – MONDAY, 9:00 AM
Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary
First Sunday of Advent December 3, 2017
In the midst of pre-holiday hyperactivity, we are offered this quiet season of reflection on Christ’s coming among us, especially in unexpected
moments. As with our ancestors in faith, his final return is unknown to us, so we probably don’t think about it very much. But how aware are we
of his presence to us now? Have we thought about what our response might be whenever or however he makes himself known to us? Advent is
our time to do this.

members of the Quartet will present a “Pops Concert” of
favorite music presented by these four outstanding
musicians accompanied by piano. The quartet singers are
professional singers who sing for various venues in the

Help Needed for our Concert Series. We are still in
need of volunteer ushers and greeters, people to hand out
programs, help with receptions, as well as help with
publicity and advertising and other behind the scenes
duties. This is a minimal commitment of time, but would
be a great help, now that our series is growing in
attendance as well as the number of concerts throughout
the year. If you can assist us, please contact Tom Bozek,
Director of Music and Liturgy at 410-668-0097 or
[email protected]. Our concerts are a
great way to evangelize to the local community and the
region.
