GRADUATE RECEIVES INVITATION FROM FORMER US VICE PRESIDENTCIC Graduate Daniel Jonah, who gained a CIC Baccalaureate in 2014 and a CIC Executive Business Administration award in 2015, wrote to the College last month; this is what he told us:-

“I am an alumni of CIC. As a testimonial of your good works at CIC, I have been invited to attend a Climate Reality training conference and presentation with His Excellency Al Gore, in Canada in July, and in Florida USA in September. I honestly pledge to always hoist the flag of CIC everywhere I go. Thank you very much for my rapid progress as we get ready for more opportunities to change the world for good. I will also like to study MBA (Organizational Management) with your institution. Thank you very much sir. Yours sincerely, Daniel Jonah”.

The United States Embassy wrote: “Mr Jonah has been invited to attend the Climate Reality Project, a US non-profit public charity founded by former US Vice President Al Gore.” and “Mr Jonah has been carefully selected out of hundreds of applicants to be trained as a Climate Leader.”

CIC is registered with the United Nations World Food Programme, which is the largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger worldwide. WFP provides food assistance in about 75 countries each year.

Anyone who works for British organisations can apply to have their CIC Fees paid by the DFID, just like Jacob Sambo of the DFID Zambia Logistics Team in Zambia; the DFID paid for him to study CIC’s Materials & Logistics Administration Baccalaureate Programme. He and DFID colleagues are studying well.

We are pleased to continue CICs long-standing policy of allowing anyone who works for a registered charity, aid agency, the United Nations, the WFP or DFID, a 10% reduction from stated CIC Fees. Study, Training and Education are the best tools for a successful career and a better world.

About 11,500 people work for the WFP, most in remote areas, serving the hungry poor. The WFP says: “In emergencies we get food to where it is needed, saving the lives of victims of war, civil conflict and natural disasters. After the cause of an emergency has passed, we help communities rebuild their lives.”

The first letter shared with you is from Chiekenwa Adolphus Ihekaji, who wrote:

Dear Sir, It gives me much pleasure to write to you through this medium. I must thank you for your good humanitarian service to the world, which I benefitted from years ago. I was a student of the institution and merited a Diploma in Journalism and in Professional Letter Writing in November 1984. Your guide-lines and instructions gave me much credit in most of my educational undertakings, and the study booklets have been my companion in most of my journalistic and editorial works. Remain blessed. Your humble old student,Chiekenwa Adolphus Ihekaji28th May 2015
