    including the area, its neighbors in all four directions ,continent in which it is located ,

    number and names of States and Union Territories and water bodies around it .

    4. Choose a season, collect pictures or draw things associated with the season like eatables,

    dresses, objects and display them on the scrap book.

    5. List five National parks, five Wild life sanctuaries and five Bird sanctuaries in India.

    Make a list of animals/ birds that are protected in these sanctuaries. Mark them on the political

    map of India.

    6. Collect newspaper articles and pictures of any one natural disaster which has happened

    between January 2017 to June 2018 and write a report on it.

    Read lessons 3 and 4, learn all the exercises done in book and notebook for II Module test.

    G. SCIENCE

    NOTE: DO THE WORK IN A THIN NOTEBOOK

    1. Divide the 10 food items under the heading carbohydrates, vitamins ,minerals and Proteins. Segregate the

    food items according to the group and write about their benefits and nutritional value.

    2. On a political map of India , mark the coastal areas. Make a list of plants that grows in these areas.

    3. Conduct experiments with water ,oil , sugar, salt and vinegar to find out which substances make miscible and

    which make immiscible solutions. Pen down your experience with reasons.

    4. Solve the crossword puzzle by finding the words from the lessons read.
