ABOUT THE ARTISTSZiggy and Miles Johnston have been playing guitar together since they first started their study of the instrument at age four. Ziggy and Miles represent two of the finest young guitarists this country has produced. Both studied at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School and Monash University. From an early age Miles and Ziggy entered many guitar eisteddfods in both solo and duet categories, earning themselves many prizes. Miles won first place in the 2015 Melbourne Recital Centre Bach Competition and second place in the 2016 Adelaide International Guitar Festival Competition while Ziggy received second place in the 2015 and 2016 Melbourne Recital Centre Romantics Competition. Their duo performances are regularly broadcast on ABC Classic FM and 3MBS Radio. Their principal teachers have been Peter Draper, Ben Dix, Geoffrey Morris and Slava Grigoryan.
