Student Behaviors

Responsibility for Coursework• Wear the appropriate Physical Education

uniform.

• Know due dates, and submit all coursework on time.

• Work with your team and fulfill your job to its fullest.

• All students will be graded on their participation and citizenship (attitude) every week for a total of 20 points a day.

• Your P.E. books will be due at the end of the semester for a project grade.

Promote Lifelong Learning

You can develop lifelong learning traits: By showing curiosity about human nature and

how the world works. By seeking and valuing diversity. By persisting in seeking out new solutions. By using your unique talents and intelligence to

promote positive change. By learning and applying technology tools to

solve problems.

Policies

• Food, gum and beverages are not allowed in the classroom.

• Any student who is not completely across the threshold of the locker room door when the bell rings will be considered tardy.

• Absences Ask team members or a classmate first for

assignments. Each absence has a one-day grace period. Be pro active and find out what the class did

before it shows up as a zero on snapgrades!

Policies

• All school rules apply

• Medicals will check in with me and go to the library to complete a report everyday they are on medical. Reports are due by the end of the hour to me.

• The consequence for missing a homework assignment is a HOMEWORK DETENTION. Students with late assignments will report to the

band room after school by 3pm and will hand in the assignment to the supervising teacher.

Late assignments will result in a 10% grade reduction.

If one does not show up for HWD, it is a ZERO.

Grading

• Grades are based on the accumulation of points.

• Points are based on: Class participation

(effort) and citizenship (attitude) Completion of assignments

(daily work) Major projects, exams, and

quizzes

• Grades are posted online at www.snapgrades.net and updated weekly.

Our Grading Scale• 90-100% =

A• 80-89% =

B• 70-79% =

C• 65-69% =

D• Below 65% =

F

Grades are calculated on cumulative percentage and are rounded up whenever possible.

• I will offer extra help and alternative assessments should you require them.

Lockers & Dressing

• You must have a school issued lock or it will be cut off.

• DO NOT SHARE LOCKERS!

• Girls give your locker number & combination to Mrs. Earley and boys give your locker number to the male teacher in charge of the locker room that hour.

• Wash your clothes!

• A NO DRESS is a letter deduction & I will contact your parent/guardian on the 2nd NO Dress for the semester & the 3rd NO Dress will be a detention as well as all others.

Class Information

• All pertinent information about the class is found in your PE Handbook.

• Check out the school website for important dates and class info. at www.hallhighschool.org under the PE Department section.

• If you lose your book, you may find it downloaded on the website or see your teacher.

• Late or absentee assignments may turn their work into an envelope posted outside the girls’ locker room.
