The mission of Claude Elementary is to fully meet the educational needs of our students while ensuring they have the skills for success in everyday life.

Needs Assessment for 2016-2017: The following data was used for decision making for the 2016-17 school year: STAAR results AYP – TARP data School Improvement Needs Principal Recommendations NWEA MAP Testing Focus for the 2016-2017 school year: TEKS Resource System ELAR/Writing K-5th grade in all academic areas for comprehension Math Instruction – K – 5th grade Math Instruction-Special Education Students and Economic Disadvantage Communication with the entire school community Goals: Goal 1: Claude Elementary School will improve academic achievement for all students and student groups. Goal 2: Claude Elementary will improve communication, both on the campus and with the entire school community. Goal 3: Claude Elementary will provide a positive school climate where all students feel safe and enjoy learning Goal 4: Claude Elementary will work professionally in high performing collaborative teams whose members work independently to improve adult and student learning. Goal 5: Claude Elementary will maintain high student attendance. Goal 6: Claude Elementary will encourage community and parental involvement in the educational process of each student to foster the development of the total child.
