For a look sans acorns, ask guests to drop a note of thankfulness inside instead.Craft Tip: Create dimension by gluing paper cutouts on both the inside and outside of the glass.

LET IT SNOWWe love this! A snowflake silhouette on a painted wintry- blue background adds instant glow to your holiday scene. Dust with glitter spray (Crafts Department) for a winter wonderland effect. And no two flakes are alike, so go ahead: Create more than one.

FAIR & SCAREPlay a Halloween trick of your own, and craft the canteen-costumed blocks you see here. We used purple and yellow water-storing crystal beads to create our liquid look-alikes and colored sand for pumpkin powder. Twist knobs into cork stoppers, and dress them with trims, tassels and trinkets for not-so-spooky detail. Note: We printed and adhered Halloween-y designs for labels.

ROOM TO BLOOMSpring is here, and the Easter Bunny is on his way. Hop into the spirit of the season with sequin-adorned foam eggs suspended from a ribbon-wrapped cherry blossom stem. Fancy a springtime family craft night, and have everyone decorate an egg! (We used gold sequin pins to secure the sparkle.)

CRAFTY CRUSHMade with love (and a few other supplies), this darling do-it-yourself décor sends the message of the season.

SUPPLIES: Paint large section of corrugated paper, and let dry. Freehand or trace letters and heart on scrap paper for templates, and cut out. Trace templates on back of corrugated paper and cut out, marking dots on shapes with pencil. Hole punch dots, as shown.

Cut vinyl to size. Adhere to front of block, following manufacturer’s instructions. Arrange shapes on vinyl, and trace around a little larger than shapes for extra space. Cut out with craft knife, as shown.

Adhere shape to block with double-sided adhesive, as shown. Repeat cutting out vinyl and adhering shape for remaining symbols. Place mini lights inside block.
