The parking lot at the AMC movie theater has 389 regular spaces and 12 handicap spaces. Hollywood Movie parking lot has 289 spaces. How many more spaces does the AMC parking lot have than the Hollywood Movie parking lot?
A football game began at 3:00 p.m. By 2:40, the first 123 people had arrived. By 2:50, another 312 people arrived. By 3:00, the last 43 people arrived. How many people attended the football game?
The Girl Scouts sold 215 boxes of cookies on the first Saturday of July. On the second Saturday, they sold 267 boxes. On the third Saturday, they sold 239 boxes. How many more boxes were sold on the three Saturdays?
A farmer had 400 apples for sale. He sold 150 of them in the morning and 186 in the afternoon. How many apples does he have left to sell?

3. How do the pen pal letters change as time passes?
Both George and Blaise did not realize they were writing to different creatures so they were inference different things based on their own experiences.
They both were very shocked and a little scared but continued to be friends despite their differences.
George and Blaise in the beginning hate writing but start to like writing to each other. Also, the teachers see that doing the assignment each year helps dragons and humans get to know each other.
