Students can take part in a wide range of self-guided extension activities to develop their skills in areas such as game development, web design, cyber security and working with basic circuits and raspberry Pi computers. Work is primarily self-directed with help forums to chat to seek help from your peers. To begin with the club is entirely online but as COVID numbers fall Computer Science rooms will also be available for these activities at lunch. Connect (Christian) Club - Mrs Crussell

Student-led fun and friendly group where all students (from any faith or none) are welcome to discuss the big questions of life. Meetings are informal and include games, discussion, reflection and prayer. Details will appear on RS noticeboard (bottom of tower block).

Junior Debating Society is back this year, open to all students in Y10 and Y11 - you can get involved as one of the speakers, take part in the floor debate, help with keeping time, or just listen. You may bring your lunch. All those interested should join the Google Classroom -code xaparpb. LGBT+ Society meet at lunchtime in Hi5. Whether you are Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Asexual, if you identify under any other aspect of LGBT+ or if you are just not sure how you identify - come along to find a friendly face, support and cake! 6th Form maximum 15 per company (we often run two companies). Students will have the opportunity to set up and run a real company over the academic year, with support & guidance of a volunteer adviser from business. Your company will raise share capital, market & finance a real product or service and sell it to the public with a chance to make a real profit. All we ask is that you will commit to weekly meetings for the year as well as some evening and weekend trade fairs run by the local YE board as part of the National competition.

Additional Information: • Year group and other information is an approximate guide only. If you would like more detailed

information on the most suitable group(s) for you please speak to your class music teacher • If you have instrumental lessons at AGS/AHS, it is expected that you join at least one ensemble • Attendance is essential on a weekly basis – re-tests or ‘pop up’ activities should not get in the way!! • If students cannot attend they MUST speak to the member of staff running the session BEFORE the

rehearsal • Students who regularly miss rehearsals will not be asked to perform in concerts/events • For ensembles not hosted at your school, meet promptly in the reception foyer at 1.40pm to walk over as a

group. If you are late please walk over on your own – always remember to sign out and back in again when you return.
