DESECRATION OF GOD'S CREATION : A reaction to Dr Henry Morgentaler being

awarded the Order of Canada

God has implored you that you love one another,Yet you snuff out the life of your sister and brother.

The blood that was meant to flow through their veinsIs flooding the streets with its lifeless remains.

Mothers are killing their unborn at willBy aborting their children with the aid of a pill.God created a life that's conceived in a womb

Which has become now for many just a cold empty tomb.

The hands God blessed that were meant to save livesAre butchering children with their scalpels and knives.

Medically gifted to not life supportBut are using their talents human life to abort.

Medical minds who pander in deathEncourage their victims to take their last breath. The weak who can't carry their burden of pain

Are assisted by demons and with lethal gas slain.

Each hand that partakes in this world's genocideWill be judged by The Father for the life they denied. All those who have blood on their hands soon will see

What the verdict of God for their crime is to be.

An estimated 110,000 babies are aborted in Canada each year

Turning Point and CHADWIC Home Partner to Help Women

THANK YOUOn September 13, 2008, Willy Fortin family in collaboration with Chapleau Health Services celebrated Willy Fortin's 100th birthday party. Willy is the oldest Chapleau citizen and over 150 people joined the family in the festivities . This event was made possible because of the overwhelming work and contribution of the Chapleau Health Services and particularly Tanya Cachagee and Sylvia Westerman and staff. Their enthusiastic contribution and dedicated hard work made this event a resounding success. In addition our family wishes to express our sincere appreciation to Mayor Earle Freeborn, his wife Nancy and the township of Chapleau. Our family deeply appreciates the participation of all the guests and those who sent their best wishes. Our father was profoundly touched. We were thoroughly entertained by the Chapleau Seniors Choir, Ted and Marguerite Castilloux, René Fournier and his son.

The Fortin family

Notre père éta i t profondément touché. Nous avons beaucoup appréciés les chants de la Chorale des aînés de Chapleau, la musique et présentation de Ted et Marguerite Castilloux, ainsi de celle de René Fournier et son fils.

Whether it's a flood, power outage or, as Toronto experienced recently, an explosion in the neighbourhood, business owners need to be ready for events beyond their control. Here are some tips to help you plan for disasters and cope when things go wrong.

Weather and FireIf a major storm or a flood hits your area, the building that houses your business could be damaged. Also, while you and your staff may be very safety conscious, fire could spread to your building from a neighbouring property. Make sure you have appropriate insurance coverage, but also try to prevent damage:

! Keep up with repairs to your building. If you rent, work with your landlord to keep the building in good condition.

! Avoid keeping company records or inventory in the basement, where it could be damaged by flooding – or a backed-up sewer pipe.

! Consider investing in a generator, even if it's just to keep the building heated and prevent burst water pipes if you lose power in winter.

! Perform regular back-ups of your computer files.! Keep your most important documents off-site, for example, at your lawyer's office. If

you have a safe, make sure it's fireproof.! Have fire extinguishers in convenient places and have them checked annually.! Tidy up. Remove clutter that could stop people from leaving quickly in case of an

emergency. Unnecessary junk may also help fuel a fire.! Store any flammable materials according to safety codes and be sure that employees

have been trained in safe handling techniques.

IllnessWhile we may not think of illness or injury as a “disaster”, having the owner out of commission can be as devastating as having the building burn down:

! Prepare a written plan, discuss if with your senior staff, and file it in a safe place. The goal is to have the business operate as normally as possible without you – just like when you go on vacation.

! Designate someone to take over responsibilities such as meeting with clients until you get back.

! Your plan should include giving Power of Attorney to a trusted person who can make legal and financial decisions in your absence. See a lawyer to draw up a Power of Attorney that meets your needs.

! Make sure that you have disability and business overhead insurance and review it yearly.

No matter what disaster has happened, be honest with your customers, suppliers and financial institution. Most will understand and they may be more flexible if they know what your situation is.
