    I.  DESCRIPCIÓN

    Este curso está dirigido a estudiantes del II ciclo de la carrera de Contabilidad yFinanzas. Pretende familiarizar al estudiante con el idioma inglés relacionado alcampo de la administración, la contabilidad y las finanzas

    Se desarrolla en un periodo de 14 semanas y la asistencia a clases es obligatoriapor tratarse de un curso teórico-práctico.

    Al finalizar se espera que el estudiante pueda ser capaz de desenvolverse en elampo laboral con los conocimientos básicos necesarios para que pueda entender,interpretar y comprender diferente documentación escrita en inglés

    Este curso desarrolla una metodología magistral. La evaluación permitirá medir elgrado de comprensión de los aspectos básicos y técnicos del inglés.

    Para poder matricular este curso, es requisito haber aprobado Inglés Básico I.

    II.  OBJETIVO GENERAL

    Reconocer ideas centrales y terminología de uso frecuente en textos relacionadoscon el área contable financiera mediante la realización de ejercicios decomprensión de lectura para mejorar la competencia profesional.

    III.  OBJETIVOS ESPECIFICOS

      Utilizar el idioma inglés como un medio de comunicación oral o escrito, pormedio de lecturas, gráficos y otras fuentes para que el estudiante se relacionecon este idioma en el campo de la contabilidad y las finanzas.

      Reconocer las estructuras gramaticales básicas, por medio de diversos tipos deejercicios, para que el estudiante logre un mayor entendimiento de los diversostextos que se le presenten.

      Extraer ideas centrales de las lecturas, por medio de cuestionarios, ejercicios decompletar u otros tipos, para que el estudiante exprese sus opiniones sobre loleído.

      Identificar el significado de las palabras, por medio de la utilización de textos,para poder lograr una mejor compresión de las lecturas.

    V. METODOLOGIA

    Cada semana, el profesor iniciará haciendo la exposición de los aspectos

    gramaticales que se han escogido para esa fecha. Seguidamente se harán las

    lecturas en forma individual, en pareja, o en grupos. De no terminarse la lectura en

    clase, la misma quedara de tarea para ser concluida en la casa. El profesor

    estimulara la participación de los estudiantes por medio de preguntas sobre eltema que se estudia en ese momento.
