Cominco Oltenia SA has been on the construction market since 1999. During this time, the company has consolidated its market position, answering yes to the key challanges. The work carried out both in Romania and other EU contries, the company has proven to be a partner that lives up to the highest demands. Respect for partners, respect for the business, respect for collective and ultimately, respect for work is a permanent priority for all of us. In recent years, we have invested in equipment, technology, process improvment, which leads us to easy access to new opportunities.

We believe that maintaining this program in the future, in conjuction with access to new markets, will lead to sustainable development of our company.

POLICY DECLARATION OF THE GENERAL DIRECTOR OF

SC. COMINCO OLTENIA S.A.

The policy of SC. COMINCO OLTENIA S.A. is to offer products/ works of a high

qualitative level, to improve performances in a sustainable manner, which is responsible towards

the environment, employees and the parties interested.

In fulfilling this desideratum, we have decided the development and the implementation

of a System of Integrated Management for quality, occupational security and health and social

responsibility in conformity with the provisions of the standards SR EN ISO 9001: 2008, SR EN

ISO 14001: 2005, SR OHSAS 18001: 2008 and SA 8000: 2008, their provisions being

mandatory for the all staff.

I undertake to continue to improve the effectiveness of the system of integrated

management and by our activity, to ensure the satisfaction of the demands of the clients, in a

responsible manner towards the environment, employees, shareholders and society.

Our objectives are:

The improvement of the positions on the market of the organization;

The increase of the satisfaction of our clients and other interested parties;

The optimization of the production costs and of the efficient and economic use of the

resources;

The development of the level of awareness and competence of the employees;

Maintaining favorable collaboration relations with the providers;

Observing the legal requirements and other requests applicable to the activities

developed;

Preventing the pollution and minimizing the impact on the environment;

Cominco Oltenia has always given a significant attention to the human resources, especially to professional preparation and to the responsibility of the given tasks.

At the moment, the company has more than 250 employees, out of which 35 people

works at the technical departments and more than 215 workers.

The site personnel is considered to be the most

important workforce and it represents 86% out of

total personnel.

The quality of our works and services is determined also by the high rate (78%) of the personnel with higher education
