Any number of template spreadsheets can be supported.

Excel template spreadsheets are created in XML format with reference to rules published by COINS. This entails ‘naming’ individual cells or ranges of cells such that the required data can be inserted by COINS.

The full power of the COINS business logic layer can be employed when populating the spreadsheets. For example, details of applications submitted, costs incurred and so on can be made available in the spreadsheet.

Memo data (for example the account manager’s working calculations) can be retained for subsequent inquiry.

Cells can be configured so that the contents update COINS. These updates are held in configurable data stores that can be included in the monthly management reports.
