Project 7.To investigate the consistent and repeated reporting of shortages
in qualified geoscientists, subsea and surface engineers as this is an area that cannot be tackled in the same way as a the other projects which potentially have short term solutions.
• Action to be taken:– Gain a better understanding of reported shortages.
• Report:– Articulate employers’ needs – Define the current supply chain– Make recommendations to improve the position going
forward
