(1) Vision One Million Baptism- June 29, 2013

On Sabbath June 29, churches across the East Jamaica Conference will be participating in another exciting

Vision One Million Baptismal Celebration! We ask that you plan specially for this day and make the necessary

arrangements to record the names as well as the number of individuals that are to be baptized on this day. Please

submit the information requested to the Ministerial Department no later than Tuesday July 2. We look forward to

a grand Sabbath day of worship, praise and Thanksgiving!

(2) Elders' Association Next General Meeting - June 30-2013The President and Executive Members of the East Jamaica Conference Elders' Association invite all elderscurrently serving in Zones 1 -3 to the next general meeting on June 30, 2013 at the East Jamaica ConferenceBoard Room where they will be looking at the topic "The Elder and Special Services."

Elders, please make a special effort to attend and be on time.

5. St. Thomas Child Preachers Training will begin July 6, 2013. CMDs kindly pick up your training packages.

6. CMDs kindly send in the names of all children who were engaged as crusade or Childrens Day Speakers for 2013.

7. Kindly send the names of the children who were baptized for 2013 as well as their ages and gender.

8. Vacation Bible School package is available at the office. The contribution ranges from $1,000 to $2,000. Speak toyour Pastor/Church Board and pick up your package now.

9. October Retreat 2013 is open to our Jewels/Children 12 years and under. Conditions apply. Departure time is

Thursday October 24 and Friday, October 25, 2013.

Tips for Parents

1. Tell us, your children, that you love us. We need to be reminded every day, especially when you are unhappy with

something we did. Remember, If a child lives with acceptance and friendship, he learns to find love in the

world.

(8) Notices from the Youth Ministries Department

(a) Summer Camp: The annual summer camp will be held from August 13-20, 2013 at Robins Bay. Cost hasbeen reduced to $6, 000 (includes a T-Shirt). Groups of five will enjoy a further 5% discount. Each church isbeing asked to send a delegate.

Youth start planning to be there. Last year was great but this year promises to be greater, more fun, fellowshipand spiritual nurture. Summer Camp is for everyone not just members. Registration closes on July 26, 2013.Summer Camp Application Forms can be accessed from the EJC website.Click here.

The Trench Town SDA Church presents their annual Festival of Praise programme on Sabbath June 29,
