ENGLISH LANGUAGE, LITERACY & NUMERACY

When to enrol| Enrol as early as possible as courses require a minimum number to run and will be cancelled if the number is not reached. This does not apply to distance courses which have continuous enrolment for individuals. Who can enrol| Generally, no prior experience or qualifications are necessary, however, occasionally selection criteria may apply, in which case this will be specified in the course description. Anyone aged 15yrs and over may enrol. Persons under 15yrs may be eligible for enrolment where specified. RPL and Credit Transfer are offered to all students enrolling in accredited courses. Concessions| Fees are kept as low as possible to cover co-ordination, tuition, venue hire, insurance and other costs associated with the course. Concessions will be granted to those who hold a Health Care Card. Proof of entitlement [card number] must be recorded on enrolment form. Confirmation & Receipts| Enrolment is confirmed on payment of fees. Receipts are issued immediately where enrolment is made in person. For phone and mail enrolments receipts are issued at the first class or may be posted where a self addressed, stamped envelope is supplied. Induction & Orientation| Occurs on the first day of the course or when you receive your materials for distance or online courses. Students enrolling in accredited courses may access our Student Handbook at www.kcc.nsw.edu.au or in the office. Refunds & Cancellations| We maintain the right to cancel any course at our discretion. If the College cancels a course, a full refund will be made. If you cancel your enrolment 7 days before the beginning of the course a full refund will be made [less a cancellation fee equal to10% of the total course cost on courses over $100 and $10 on all other courses.] No refund will be made if you cancel less than 7 days prior to start of course. Certificates| Certificates or Statements of Attainment are issued to students who successfully complete the requirements for accredited courses.
