CArEEr TECHNology EduCATioN (CTE)Forklift Logistics Operations & Warehouse training programDean Priscilla Leadon, Staff and Training Cohort
The Career Technology Education(CTE) department at CCC began the Spring Semester with large numbers enrolled in its Forklift Logistics Opera-
tions & Warehouse training program. CCC is the first in the TAA collaborative to launch the training program.
During the orientation ses-sions in January, a total of 95 West County residents signed up for the 35 slots open to the first training cohort. The limited cohort number is based on the number of hours each student must have on the forklifts and other warehouse equipment used in the program.
The classes include forklift safety training, Hazmat aware-ness certificate, digital ware-house skills and job placement assistance.
