Development is . . . • growth• change• learning • experiences• a process• accomplishment• success• failure
What is Community Development?
Community Development is . . . • getting to know one another• programming• mutual respect• working through differences• respect for self, others & the environment• involvement• living up to standards

Familiarity, interaction and acquaintanceship exists
among members of a community

Contributions and achievements of community members are recognized and
rewarded.

Mutual expectations exist among members. Members understand
the expectation of other communities within the hall.

Community members understand and accept their personal
responsibilities as members of that community.
