Points on the season which locked up the pacific division and the western

Conference regular season title. Throughout the season, nine different

Barracuda players made an appearance with the san jose sharks and

Stockton heat during the first round. The hard fought series came down

To the wire as ryan carpenter scored shorthanded during overtime in a

Win or go home game 5. In round two, the barracuda squared off against

The san diego gulls. During the regular season, neither team was able to

Earn a victory on the road. after splitting two games in san jose The

barracuda went on to win three straight games in san diego and for the

First time in san jose sharks history, their ahl affiliate would move on

To play in the conference finals. Similar to the previous series, the

Community review

Throughout the 2016-17 season, the san jose barracuda took the same

Approach off the ice as they did on the ice by being some of the hardest

Working players in the league. Building off their success from last

season, The barracuda worked hard to strengthen their bond with the

san jose Community.

The barracuda brought hockey education programming to 30+ schools

Where almost 3000 students were visited in 120 classrooms. San Jose

barracuda players were also involved in helping the organization

Establish themselves as a top tier ahl club. Barracuda players made 40

appearances on the season at various schools, hospitals, charity events

And other community outreach opportunities.

Not only were players a major factor in establishing a strong connection

To the community but so was the barracuda team mascot, frenzy. Since

His debut in January, frenzy has made over 150 outside appearances and

that number is Constantly growing.

There are many great events that the barracuda have participated In

Since moving to san jose and there are even more that we will attend in

The future. Continuing to create and strengthen the connection between

The team and the community is a top priority for the san jose barracuda.
