Drive Control Corporation (DCC) is one of South Africa’s foremost specialist distributors of IT products. The privately-owned company was formed in 1988 as an IT commodities distribution company with its head office in Johannesburg (Gauteng) with its purpose-built sales and distribution centre.

Conference, Training and Dell Proof of Concept CentreDCC has a purpose-built training and education centre in its Headquarters in Linbro Park, Johannesburg. These facilities are designed to address all training and customer demonstration needs.

DCC offices in Johannesburg and Cape Town also have a fully equipped Dell Proof of Concept centre with an extensive range of Server and storage hardware available.

Resellers and partners are encouraged to use these as an extension of their business, therefore increasing productivity and profitability by offering training, seminars, proof-of-concept and demonstrations to help the resellers and their channel customers make confident investments in technology.

Pre-Sales and After-Sales Support DCC has a team of experienced and vendor certified pre- and after-sales support staff. DCC maintains one of the highest ratios of services to sales staff in the local distribution market in order to support its resellers and their clients, particularly with high end solutions.

DCC’s deployable field engineers and system specialists assist resellers with pre-sales and consultative services and education. They assist the resellers with scoping, design, implementation and after-sales support including service level agreements (SLAs).

Leveraging the strong international heritage of the HP brand, DCC has been supplying a variety of HP branded products to both resellers and retailers in the South African market, including printers and supplies, notebooks, desktops and storage media, serving the needs of both the business and

consumer markets.

Our HP product range includes:

► Printers and Scanners – we offer a comprehensive range of HP print and scan for home and office solutions. The HP product range includes print only and multifunction DeskJet, DeskJet Ink Advantage, LaserJet, PageWide, OfficeJet, ScanJet and DesignJet.

► Print Accessories and Care Packs – our offering also includes a full range of accessories for our print and scan solutions, including replacement ink and toner cartridges, input trays and staple cartridges, memory modules, stands and paper bins, batteries, adaptors and automatic document feeders.

StorMagic makes virtual SANs simple for small datacentres and edge computing applications. Founded on the principle of challenging an overly-complex storage market with a simple,

lightweight alternative, the StorMagic product, SvSAN, is designed to provide a highly available, two-server solution that is simple, cost-effective and flexible.

What is StorMagic SvSAN?

SvSAN removes the need for a physical SAN in some of the world’s most demanding environments

by converting the disk, flash and memory of two servers into a virtual SAN. It is perfect for small &

medium sized business (SMB) datacentres and for edge computing deployments such as remote

or branch offices that require high availability with a very cost-effective, small IT footprint.

SvSAN virtual SAN removes the complexity of virtualized storage and is based on software-

defined storage that eliminates the need for physical SANs. SvSAN is designed to be very simple

to install and manage.

SvSAN runs as a VSA (Virtual Storage Appliance) on two or more low-cost, x86-based servers.

SvSAN supports VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V and Linux KVM hypervisors. It provides the

shared storage necessary to enable the advanced hypervisor features such as High Availability/
