The WEMCO® Hydrogritter® II complete grit removal package is an economical option for grit removal in municipal waste water treatment plants sized for

flows of 2 MGD and less. It provides the performance you expect, in a cost-effective package for lower flow treatment plants.

The impressive performance of the Hydrogritter® II grit removal system removes grit larger than 150 mesh (105 micron) with a specific gravity of 2.65 or

greater. It is also capable of removing up to 3/4 tons of grit per hour. The package

includes a pump sized for 250 gpm at 40’ TDH, that operates on 230 or 460 volt power.

Equipped with a NEMA rated control panel, the Hydrogritter® II complete grit removal package

achieves a fully integrated operating system, free from the need for constant supervision.
