LW402 - 825

MD220-920

Heavy-duty aircooled vacuum pumps incorporating our patented high flow ballast air injection system, enabling continuous running with a closed inlet at 27/28” Hg.

Optional pneumatic operation of the 4 way valve which has a built in non-return valve as standard. The LW625/825 are fancooled and have the lubrication pump mounted inside the large capacity oil reservoir. Additional foot pads for side mounting

This range of four MD watercooled machines is designed for continuous running at higher duties than the aircooled L range, and is suitable for large tankers or gully evacuators.

The lubrication system is by means of a mechanical oil pump giving a metered flow to the bearings and cylinder. The lubricator is direct mounted at the rear of the machine.

Whilst the details contained in this leaflet are representative of the machines, the actual products may differ from the illustrations due to improvements in design. Certified copies and performance curves will be supplied on request.

All dimensions in millimetres unless stated.

Imperial Example:

Evacuate a 3500 gallon vessel to 90% vacuum using the MD630 at 750 RPM.

MD630 displacement at 750 RPM is 492 cfm

Curve reading is 25 minutes

Actual Evacuation Time

= 25 x 100

492

= 5.1 minutes

Metric Example:

Evacuate a 20 cubic metre vessel to 90% vacuum using the MD630 at 750 RPM.

MD630 displacement at 750 RPM is 834 m3/hr

Curve reading is 31 minutes

Actual Evacuation Time

= 31 x 170

834

= 6.3 minutes

Imperial:To obtain actual evacuation time multiply result from curve by: - 100 pump displacement (cfm)

Metric:To obtain actual evacuation time multiply result from curve by: - 170 pump displacement (m3/hr)
