Wild Times Zoo Flyer
You are to create a one page flyer for the Wild Times Zoo. Consider the following
facts before designing your flyer:
You may find photographic images online.
The zoo doesn’t have an official logo. It is considering using a jungle font and
possibly a glyph to create a logo.
A child’s ticket costs $9.00 and an adult ticket costs $12.00.
The zoo just opened a new primate exhibit (including monkeys, gorillas, etc.)
The official zoo colors are orange, green, and red.
The zoo is opened from May 1-September 20 from 8am to 9pm.
Your final product will be graded based on the following rubric.

Project 2
Marketing Stickman Action Figures
Your company has just created a new line of stickman action figures. The
stickmen are available in many colors and they are very poseable. They cost $4.99
each.
Your job is to create an ad to market these new poseable stickmen. The first
thing you must do is come up with a name for the stickmen. (Hot Wheels doesn't
just call their cars "toy cars," so you shouldn't just call the stickmen "poseable
stickmen.") You must then draw the stickmen is various poses interacting with their
environment. (For example, you could show a stickman riding a bike or walking a
dog.) Your stickmen are going to be marketed to boys and girls. Below are the
specifications that your boss gave to you to guide you in creating the ad:
1. Displays the brand name of the stickmen action figures in a large attractive
font: 1point.
2. Features at least 3 stickmen drawn in different colors: 1 point.
3. Stickmen are in different poses: 1 point.
4. The ad mentions that the stickmen are poseable:1 point.
5. The ad mentions things that you can make your stickmen do (i.e. walk the dog,

Design the Front of a Cereal Box
Design a cereal box for a new cereal. (As usual, you must make it up.) Think of the
few basic types of cereal: flakes, o’s, bran, crispies, etc. Even though it’s not
required, you may want to include information about a toy surprise, if your cereal is
for kids. Your cereal box will be judged by the following criteria:
1. Displays name of cereal in a big, readable font _____ / 5 points.
2. Includes at least one photo, picture, or clipart that goes with the name of

Soda Marketing Challenge
You have been hired by a beverage company to market a new soda pop. You
must first come up with a name, logo, and color scheme for the soda. You must
then design three different ads, each targeting a different group. You must design
an ad for young children, teenagers, and middle-aged adults.
Think of spokespeople that might appeal to the different groups. Also think
about how you might use different words or phrases to appeal to each group. Also,
optionally, you may want to include some sort of promotion in your ads. Your ads will
be graded based on the following rubric: When you finish submit your project to
