Wild Times Zoo Flyer

You are to create a one page flyer for the Wild Times Zoo. Consider the following

facts before designing your flyer:

You may find photographic images online.

A child’s ticket costs $9.00 and an adult ticket costs $12.00.

The zoo just opened a new primate exhibit (including monkeys, gorillas, etc.)

The official zoo colors are orange, green, and red.

The zoo is opened from May 1-September 20 from 8am to 9pm.

Your final product will be graded based on the following rubric.

The flyer:

1. ______ / 2 pts Includes at least three pictures of the animals (with at

least one star or oval shaped frame)

2. ______ / 2 pts Mentions zoo price

3. ______ / 1 pt Uses official zoo colors

4. ______ / 1 pt Mentions primate exhibit

Marketing Stickman Action Figures

Your company has just created a new line of stickman action figures. The

stickmen are available in many colors and they are very poseable. They cost $4.99

each.

Your job is to create an ad to market these new poseable stickmen. The first

thing you must do is come up with a name for the stickmen. (Hot Wheels doesn't

just call their cars "toy cars," so you shouldn't just call the stickmen "poseable

stickmen.") You must then draw the stickmen is various poses interacting with their

environment. (For example, you could show a stickman riding a bike or walking a

dog.) Your stickmen are going to be marketed to boys and girls. Below are the

specifications that your boss gave to you to guide you in creating the ad:

1. Displays the brand name of the stickmen action figures in a large attractive

font: 1point.

2. Features at least 3 stickmen drawn in different colors: 1 point.

3. Stickmen are in different poses: 1 point.

4. The ad mentions that the stickmen are poseable:1 point.

5. The ad mentions things that you can make your stickmen do (i.e. walk the dog,

ride a bike, go shopping, etc.): 1 point.

6. The ad uses colors that would appeal to boys and girls: 1 point.

7. The ad features the price of each action figure: 1 point.

8. The ad has a clean layout : 1 point.

9. The ad uses clipart or pictures as needed for the stickmen to interact with 1

point.

10. Uses correct spelling/grammar: 1 point.

Total Points: 10

When you are finished, please submit your work to www.edmodo.com.

for kids. Your cereal box will be judged by the following criteria:

1. Displays name of cereal in a big, readable font _____ / 5 points.

2. Includes at least one photo, picture, or clipart that goes with the name of

your cereal _____ / 5 points.
