Gaskets and Caulks
• 3 seals between logs, vertical and horizontal
• Eatha Foam gasket on center between T&G

• All seals and caulks hidden in log wall system no exposure to the elements or UV light
Through Bolts
• Through Bolts run top to bottom of all log courses.
• Bolts are on each side of every corner, window/door and are placed every 4 to 6 feet in the log wall system
• Bolts apply 8000 lbs of downward pressure to wall system
• Earth quake proof because no springs required
• Tightening our through bolts achieves 50% compression on our sealant tapes
Splines
• Splines are used for butt connections and intersecting log wall
• Spines are laminated wood with a sealant applied to face to ensure air tight joint
• Wood splines expand and contract at same rate as log wall system
• Figure 8 design locks connecting logs, no separation can occur in time

Engineered Jam System
• Hardwood Dowel is placed beside all window and door openings
• Dowels lock sub-jam in place while allowing logs to move as require
• Seal is between dowel and sub-jam
• Acoustical Caulk is behind window or door trim, no exposure to elements
