These evidence-based educational lectures are structured to augment physician expertise with current guidelines, materials and recommendations, as well as up-to-date advances in medical treatment on specific topics. Target Audience: This continuing medical education program is designed to meet the educational needs of physicians in general practice, osteopathic family physicians, and other healthcare professionals who provide care to patients in a general practice environment. Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to… • Identify the updated guidelines for treatment of lower back pain and alternative treatment options • List the predominant causes of tick borne illnesses and current management recommendations • Evaluate current diet fads and evidence to support their success • Demonstrate understanding of block chain and it’s implication for the advancement of healthcare • Describe the necessary tools and training needed to handle emergencies that may arise in an outpatient office setting • Recognize coding strategies to distinctly stratify diagnoses for complicated patient populations • Recommend end of life care techniques for the management of patients and provide necessary support to the caregivers • Generate treatment plan strategies for the care of patients of all ages with ADHD • Explain holistic strategies for the care of patients with chronic diseases OVERVIEW REGISTRATION Accreditation Statement: Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) to provide osteopathic continuing education for DO physicians.
