wrangler; Susan Evans and Wendy Barton, item entry; Funding and Events Committee (Monica Conway, Kelly Gast, Kim Holland, Marcena Hopkins Peterson, Deanna Kempthorne, George Leap, Kathy Werner-Leap); and everyone who solicited or donated to the auction. Thanks to the bidders and buyers too! Future Credo Site at Sonoma Mountain Village Site Moving Forward!

Last Wednesday, Credo seniors Griffin Boyle, Leah Newton and Nadia Haugen joined me and about 20 other stakeholders for a visioning session at Sonoma Mountain Village. This development, just a mile down Camino Collegio from our current campus, is where we intend to locate Credo in the future. Sanctioned by the international nonprofit One Planet Communities, Sonoma Mountain Village is planned to be the most sustainable development in North America. It will include 1900 homes, shops, a farm, our school, a senior community, parks, playing fields and many other attractions. Credo students were seen as future homebuyers and offered great suggestions about how to make the village a most satisfying place to live. The development has been on hold for the last few years due to the recession, but now it is coming fast to life. I will keep you abreast of developments. Credo-made Gifts Available The Holiday Fair was a huge success, yet we have some products left to sell!! All products have been made by 10th and 12th grade students in Farming class, with high quality, organic products. For your winter health, there is Fire Cider and Elderberry Syrup (must refrigerate), both revered for their ability to help prevent flu and cold symptoms or shorten their duration; both are immune boosting, anti-inflammatory, anti bacterial, anti-viral. Fire Cider is warming, sweet and spicy, and elderberry syrup, made from local elderberries, is sweetened with local, organic honey…Hippocrates is said to have called it his “medicine chest.” There are a few left of our lovely Ruby Chest Rub…made with echinacea, oregano grape root and a number of herbs and essential oils to warm and bring healing during a cold. Our body products include high quality Spritzers, Bath Oils and Body Roll-on Oils and Lip Balms, created by 12th graders. A few Orange Blossom Face Lotions are left as well as Heavenly Hand Cream. Salt or Sugar Body Scrubs to exfoliate and refresh your skin in the shower and Epsom Lavender Bath Bags to relax and sooth sore muscles are available. Please come to the office to purchase and support our students. All products cost from $1 to $15. Thank you for your support!!
