PRESIDENT’S REPORT
Best wishes to Stephen, Bethany,
Anav and her future sibling on their upcoming move to Alabama. They will all
be missed. It's hard to believe it has been three years since Stephen joined us. Welcome back to our snowbirds. It
was wonderful to see so many members and visitors, including our children at
Shavuot and Shabbat services recently. Please plan on coming to services Friday evening, June 1st and Saturday
morning, June 2nd to meet visiting Student Rabbi Yael Werber from Hebrew College in Boston, who will help lead
services. If you are coming Friday evening, please stay for a communal
Shabbat chicken dinner to follow services. We are moving the Friday service earlier to 6 PM on that day only so that dinner can
start earlier. Please contact Cher Hoffman at 518-744-4806 or [email protected]
to let us know if you are staying for dinner so we can prepare enough food. Also, please contact Cher, Nancy Goldstein, or
Bonnie Yanklowitz if you can help with food preparation, as help is needed not only for this event but for our weekly
kiddishes and onegs. There will be a Congregational
meeting on Wednesday, June 6th at 7 PM, at which time we hope to have a plan in place for your review for appointment of
clergy for next year. We will also be reviewing the budget and voting on board members for this coming year.

Welcome back more Snowbirds. Have a happy, healthy summer everyone!
We wish Stephen, Bethany and Anav Slater our best for their travels and new
home in Alabama. Also great success in Rabbi Stephen’s new position. Mazel Tov for Rabbi Stephen’s Ordination on
Sunday, June 3rd. We are so proud of him.
The Sisterhood Meeting has been rescheduled for Tuesday, May 29th at 6:30 pm in the social hall. This will be
a very important planning meeting for our Arts & Book Fair, which will now take
place Sunday, June 17th from 9AM-4PM.
That event had to be rescheduled from June 10th due to LARAC’s date change.
Also there will be other Sisterhood updates.
We look forward to seeing you Tuesday, May 29th at 6:30PM!
