Caring Our Core Value
At Pushpanjali, we are a diverse group of people from different backgrounds joined together by a shared set of values. We
put the patient first in all we do - no matter where in the hospital we work - we remember always that caring for the
individual patient and their family is at the heart of our mission and our philosophy.
Besides this, we partner with the community in theirJourney to Good Health . To achieve this, we reach into residential
areas and offer services and programs at venues that facilitate easy access to health care. As you are aware, we conduct
frequent health camps, invite our doctors to give public talks, and mobilize vulnerable groups, such as the elderly and
help them take charge of their own good health. Most people who avail of these facilities are happy to know that their
health is good and learn of the habits that help them maintain it. Others get to know of impending dangers early. The
power of timely action is known to us all!
Parallel to our business strategies is our focus on Corporate Social Responsibility, where we aim to Create Shared Value.
This shared value model rests on the understanding that corporate success and social welfare are interdependent. People
are important to us.
In the recent past, we had an opportunity to exercise this belief. The case of Ramrati, a poor woman with a serious heart
problem from Bihar, who was found to be living in a disused toilet near AIIMS while waiting for her turn at being
operated, is now national news. On reading of her plight, we reached out to help her. A team of Pushpanjali surgeons led
by Dr A Sampath Kumar, operated upon her free of cost and Ramrati has now returned to her village with a new lease of
life.
Yet another instance of our commitment to the well-being of our community is the new training program on hospitality
services launched in PIPS (Pushpanjali Institute of Paramedical Sciences) for those with hearing impairment. People
with visual disabilities have been a part of our workforce for a long time, and through this new training program we will
take yet another step in our goal of providing equal opportunities for all.
Among the other ways we have helped the poor in need of high value, life-saving surgical services is by carrying out more
than 20 valve surgeries under the program Gift of Life in collaboration with Rotary International and ten valve surgeries
with Genius NGO. The Pushpanjali Crosslay Charitable Trust has helped more than 25 patients with life saving
surgeries and other high-end medical services.
At Pushpanjali, we not only speak of an uncompromising code of ethics that emphasizes complete honesty, transparency
and sincerity in all we do, but also translates this through our actions to earn the complete trust of our patients and their
families, our community and our coworkers.
