That the County Treasurers be authorised by the Council to pay, on the certificate
of the County Surveyor, such sums as may become due to the Urban District
Authorities of Beckenham, Bexley, Gillingham, Hythe, Ramsgate, Tonbridgo
and Tunbridge Wells, in conjunction with a loan from the Road Board in
respect of improved surfacing materials. The total of such payments not
to exceed in the aggregate a sum of £7,985.
That the County Treasurers be authorised bythe Council to pay, on the certificate
of the County Surveyor, such sums as become due between the meetings of
the Bridges and Roads Committee conditionally that the payments so made
do not exceed £250 in any one period of three months, in order to save dis-
counts to the County Council.
That the County Treasurers be authorised by the Council to pay on the
Certificate of the Clerk of the County Council such sums as will become due
for Main Road Improvements in conjunction with grants from the Road
Board, not exceeding £1,000.
That the County Treasurers be authorised by the Council to pay from time to
time, on the Certificate of the County Surveyor, the amount due in respect of
haulage of materials required for the maintenance, repair and improvement of
the Main Roads, where such haulage is conducted on the terms of immediate
payment, to an amount not exceeding £1,500.
