17. Acknowledgements“Die uithourit sport is uniek in die sin dat ons dit nie met ander perde sporte kanvergelyk nie. Sedert die sport in die vroeë sewentigerjare in alle erns begin het,het die sosiale aspek van die sport minder belangrik geword. Aande om die kampvuur en naweke saam spandeer, moes plek maak vir al ons ander lewens prioriteite. Kom ons benut Kathu se rit om bande te bou en netwerke in plek te sit wat ons en die perdesport na ‘n volgende vlak van selfverwesenliking sal neem.

Onthou niemand staan bo die sport nie. 1. Foreword

Kathu Equestrian Club strives to be a leading value adding Club in South Africa.

The Club focuses on our multi cultural community within and around Kathu in order to identify, develop and support Equestrian Talent that will represent our community with pride. We will achieve that through “people, making a difference in a Club making a difference.

The Management of Kalahari Country and Kathu Equestrian Club would like to extend a warm welcome to all participants, visitors, officials and organizers to our third in a row CEI* and CEI** event hosted at Kathu Equestrian Club. We trust that you will all experience this ride to be an enjoyable and memorable experience for many years to come!

Kathu klub bied met trots sy derde agtereenvolgende FEI rit aan en wel ook twee ritte in 2014.
