CONTRACT APPOINTMENTS OF TEACHERS IN JNVS Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, Regional Office, Pune invites applications from eligible candidates for

the posts of PGTs, TGTs, Misc. Teachers & FCSA (Faculty-cum-system-administrator) for their appointment

on contract basis in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas situated in the States/UTs of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa,

Daman & Diu, Dadra & Nagar Haveli.

Remuneration: - 1) For PGT- Rs. 27,500/- pm, Hard Station (Dist Kutch) Rs. 32500/-

Consolidated per month.

2) For TGTs & Misc.- Rs. 26,250/- pm, Hard station (Dist. Kutch)

Rs. 31250/- consolidated per month.

3) For FCSA.- Rs. 26,250/- pm, Hard station (Dist. Kutch)

shall be provided.

INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, Regional Office Pune invites applications

from eligible candidates for appointment as Faculty-cum-System

Administrators on contract basis in the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas

located in the States/UTs of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Daman & Diu,

Dadra & Nagar Haveli.

Prescribed Qualification :

Graduate with Diploma in Computer Application (equivalent to “A” level course of DOEACC) from a recognised institution

(or) “A” level certificate from DOEACC

(or)

BCA from recognised University / Institution

(or)

B Tech / B E in Computer Science / Information Technology or Information Science from a recognized University.

The candidate having experience in Govt./Govt. Aided Residential School

and qualified CTET conducted by CBSE shall be given additional weightage

for selection.

Tenure of engagement & Remuneration : The selected candidate will be

engaged for a period of ten months from the date of engagement or till the

end of April, whichever is less excluding long vacations on contract basis at

a fixed monthly remuneration of Rs.26,250/- . Candidate selected as FCSA

for JNV Kutch (hard station) will be paid Rs.31,250/- as monthly

remuneration.

Terms & Conditions :

1. The appointment shall be purely on contract basis for a fixed period

and will not confer any right on any employee to seek regularisation of

services or for continuation of contract period.

2. FCSA will be appointed only in case of those JNVs where the

installation of hardware in the Vidyalaya has been completed.

3. The candidate appointed as FCSA on contract basis will be responsible

to teach the children, impart training to other teachers / other staff

members, up keeping of hardware & software, maintenance of records

for supply and issue of computer stationery and consumables and

would submit periodic reports to the Principal as required.

4. The FCSA is deployed for teaching the students from Class VI to Class

X.

5. The FCSA shall take 26 periods in a week during academic hours and

12 periods in the afternoon.

6. The FCSA can also be entrusted with other duties like MOD, tutorship

and prep duties.

7. The FCSA shall maintain the website of the Vidyalaya regularly.

8. The FCSA is not entitled for any leave during the period of contract,

and he will be governed by the normal Vidyalaya holidays during the

contract period.

9. On termination of the contract, the FCSA shall not be entitled to any

terminal benefits from the Principal of the JNV or NVS.

10. Notwithstanding anything in the contract, the Principal may

terminate the service of the FCSA before the expiry of the said period

in case if his/her work is not found satisfactory or if his/her conduct

is found to be unbecoming of a Govt servant and unsuitable for a co-

educational residential institution.

NOTICE FOR EMPANELMENT/ENGAGEMENT OF TEACHERS ON CONTRACT BASIS

GUIDELINES FOR CANDIDATES

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (residential co-educational school system

under Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India), invite

applications from eligible candidates for empanelment and engagement as teachers,

purely on contract basis in various subjects for the academic session 2019-2020

against vacancies arising from time to time in the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas in

the States / UTs of Goa, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Daman, Diu and Dadra and Nagar

Haveli. These panels will be made applicable for the vacancies available in these

JNVs on re-opening of JNVs after summer vacation w.e.f. 01.07.2019 and valid up

to 30.04.2020 only.

Application formats alongwith all other relevant details are available on the

website of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, Pune Region www.nvsropune.gov.in and on

the website of JNVs of the concerned District (website addresses and postal

addresses of JNVs are available on the website www.nvsropune.gov.in ). Since

JNVs are residential in nature, it is mandatory for the teachers to reside in the

Vidyalaya campus to attend residential school duties besides their routine duties.

Boarding and Lodging would be provided as available at the JNV site.

Remuneration (consolidated):

PGTs –(normal station Rs.27500/- pm, hard station (Kutch) Rs.32500/- pm

TGTs- Normal station Rs.26250/-pm, hard station (Kutch) Rs.31250/- pm

Interested/eligible applicants can download the application format as stated

above and apply to the Principal Cluster Centre JNV, Vidyalaya Recruitment

Committee (VRC) of the concerned Cluster JNVs where he/she wishes to be posted

by 05.06.2019. A candidate willing to apply for more than one post will have to

apply separately for each post. However he/she may indicate the choice places of

posting in the application which may be considered subject to availability of

vacancies. However selected candidate can be posted to any of the JNVs as per

requirement of the samiti.

The candidates are advised to enclose self attested testimonials in support of

his/her age, qualification, experience, scholastic/co-scholastic achievements

alongwith the application form as the merit list / panel will be prepared at cluster

centre on the basis of his/her scholastic/co-scholastic achievements only. No

separate interviews will be held.

The last date of accepting applications in the Office of the Principal of concerned

Cluster Centre JNV is 05.06.2019.

The candidates shall appear alongwith all the original documents, certificates

and testimonial to the Cluster JNV, where he/she has been allotted by VRC basing

on his merit and choice place. The candidate who has been offered the post shall

acknowledge the same and give receipt of consent. However, he/she will be allowed

to join duty at the JNV allotted, upon signing an agreement on stamp paper of Rs.

100/- with the Principal, JNV (place of posting).

The panels are prepared at Cluster centres (subject wise) from where these will

be operated i.e. for vacancies in JNVs. Allocation will be done strictly in order of

merit for each subject. In case of his/her non-appearance for verification of

documents/refusal to join in allotted JNV after verification, the next available

candidate empanelled will be issued the „Offer of appointment‟. Candidates can be

posted anywhere as per the requirement of NVS and availability of vacancy.

Applications, strictly and only in the prescribed formats, can be submitted to

the office of the Principal of cluster centre (only 7 JNVs as mentioned below) on all

working days between the advertised date and closing date where the candidate(s)

wish to apply through Registered/speed post or in person in the office of the

concerned cluster centre between 10.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. on all working days on or

before 05.06.2019. Applications will not be accepted in the Regional Office,

Pune. Applications shall be accepted only in seven cluster centres whose names are

listed below. The cluster centre JNVs will recruit the teachers for the JNVs which

TGT (Science) Botany, Zoology & Chemistry.

TGT (Maths) Maths, Physics & Chemistry. TGT (SS) History with Geography/Economics/Political Science, OR Geography

with History/Economics/Political Science. TGT (Hindi, English, Gujarati, Marathi)

Candidate must have studied Hindi, English, Marathi, Gujarati as Elective Subject at Graduation Level as per the post applied for subject concerned.

NB: i). Additional weightage will be given to the CTET qualified candidate (Paper-II) for

TGTs only conducted by CBSE ii) In absence/non-availability of above candidates preference should be given to those

candidates who had worked earlier in Central Govt. Organization. iii) Retired teachers up to the age of 65 years may be engaged subject to their fitness and

willingness.

Consolidated remuneration per month:

1. For PGTs : (normal station Rs. 27,500/- pm, hard station Rs. 32,500/- pm)

2. For TGTs : (normal station Rs. 26,250/-, hard station Rs. 31,250/- pm) and

iii) Candidate should also have secured 50% marks in Aggregate Individually in the subjects During all the years of study. iv) Candidate should Have secured at least 50%

marks in aggregate in the graduation Degree

Maths i) The candidate should have

studied Maths, Physics and

Chemistry during all three --do---

ii) In case Of Such

Universities which provide

for only two subjects out

of the three as mentioned

above, in the final year of

graduation, the Candidate

iii) Candidates who have

passed B.Sc. degree With

for the post of TGT

(Maths).

iv) Candidate should also have

in aggregate in the

graduation degree also.

Science i) The candidate should have studied Botany, Zoology and Chemistry during all --do-- the three years of study in

graduation. ii) In case of such Universities

which provide for only two

subjects in the final year of

graduation, the candidates

should have studied any of the

two subject out of Botany,

Zoology and Chemistry in the

final year of examination and

all the three subjects, viz.

Botany, Zoology and Chemistry

in the Ist and 2nd

years of

graduation.

iii) In case of Honours Degree in

any of the above mentioned

three subjects, the candidate

must have studied other two

subjects in the First and

Second year of the course. iv) Candidate should also have

secured 50% marks in aggregate

individually in all of these

subjects during all the years

of study. v) Candidates should have

secured 50% marks in aggregate in the graduation degree also.

i) The candidate should have

studied any of the Two SOCIAL

STUDES subjects out of The

year. Candidate with BA (Hons) in Economics or Political Science are not eligible for the post of TGT Social Studies.
