JAMIE GAJESKIPrincipalChief Operating Officer

Mr. Gajeski is responsibile for the project management and field operations of The Vene-tian Group. This includes, but not limited to pre-construction, team building, delegating, safety, site management and maintenance. His methods are the key fundamentals to The Venetian Group’s efficiency in project implementation, material and subcontractor organization, perfect safety record, continuity and high standard of excellence through-out every project.

For over 30 years prior to joining The Venetian Group, Mr. Gajeski held positions with distinguished construction firms. Titles include Project Manager for Nastasi Associates from 2006-2011, Superintendent for Plaza Construction from 2004-2006 and Vice Pres-ident of Facility Maintenance for Nastasi White from 1982-2004. During his tenure he was responsible for planning, construction, management, operations, and development for multiple commercial office buildings located in Midtown Manhattan. As well as co-ordinating all carpentry maintenance work in Rockefeller Center, NBC Studios, Chrysler Building and various Tishman Speyer facilities. Mr. Gajeski resides in New York with his wife.

FRANK GAUDESIPrincipal

Mr. Gaudesi is responsible for the management and executive operations of The Venetian Group. This includes accountability, estimating, budgeting, cost control, and documen-tation of the firm. His strategies are the key elements to The Venetian Group’s effective-ness in reduced project costs, decreased overall time in planning and design, anticipated scheduling needs, and continuous control throughout the project providing optimum value and quality.

For over 20 years prior to joining The Venetian Group, Mr. Gaudesi established and owned multiple construction and demolition companies. His companies were as fol-lows: All Star Demolition Corp. from 2005-2011 and All State Interior Demolition Inc. from 1993-2004, where he was responsible for countless large scale demolition projects throughout all of New York and the surrounding areas. Additionally, Mr. Gaudesi found-ed and owns 56th Street MP Corp. from 2005-present, where he manages real estate construction and development of multi-use buildings in the Queens and Brooklyn area as well as luxury residential homes on Long Island. Mr. Gaudesi resides in New York with his wife.



Sandford “Sandy” Holland Senior Project Manager

Responsible for the management, supervision, coordination and successful completion of construction projects to meet time and cost objectives with respect to contracting, scheduling, estimating and contract administration functions. Project Experience: YUM! Brands KFC American Showman Program- Regional Lead; Program management and design services involving the complete interior and exterior remodeling of 3,000 existing franchises and company owned locations across the country. The scope of work included the overall program planning, project management, survey, design, procurement, logistics management, permitting, construction, and commissioning of projects. The project scope included interior, exterior finishes, signage, décor and furniture, fixtures and equipment. Speedway Hess Remodel Program- Regional Lead; Construction Management services for Speedway's Conversion Program. The program involved the renovation of 1000 Hess convenience stores acquired by Speedway. The scope of work included program management, permitting, procurement, estimating, bidding, and construction to deliver new finishes, food and beverage equipment, and MEP and ADA upgrades. BBVA Compass- Multiple Locations: Owners Representative; Program Management services across the United States. The scope of work includes preconstruction, site scoping management of client vendors, procurement services, rebranding renovations of old Wachovia and Washington Mutual branches, tenant improvement fit-outs, new builds in ten locations and project management of mission critical projects. JPMorgan Chase Private; Turnkey construction services for high profile branches in Metro New York Area designed for high net worth financial services customers. Projects include high-end interior fit outs with a more sophisticated level of finishes than typical retail branch banks

STEVEN WASSERMAN Director of Estimating

Steven Wasserman joined The Venetian Group as the company was opening up its doors in 2012. Steven Wasserman is the primary member of the estimating team who oversees with project team the final review of budgets and estimates produced by the project estimator. Steven has over 25 years of extensive experience estimating various types of projects including, retail, commercial, hospitality, offices and industrial spaces. As Director, he is responsible for the oversight of the estimating process for all projects bid and awards, and has established standardized procedures, methods and processes for estimating.Mr. Wasserman manages and coordinates the people, software and other resources used to perform the estimating functions. Projects range from Conceptual to Fully defined Projects.




STEVEN SHAPIRO Senior Project Manager

Steven Shapiro is a hands on construction executive that currently manages high profile clients in a retail, broadcast, institutional, and healthcare setting. A Senior Project Manager with true carpentry skills, Steve has dedicated the past fifteen plus years in the construction field, with the last ten years as a builder in a national setting putting fast track retail and food service franchises in place. Mr. Shapiro has brought his strong leadership and skilled mentorship to The Venetian Group for the last three years. His experience makes him a valuable asset to the team. Mr. Shapiro’s training began as a working superintendent that included projects for interior finishes for a New World HQ., State-Of-The-Art conference rooms, auditoriums, theaters, trading floors, IT center, generators, first aid, and many maintenance offices. Mr. Shapiro has played an integral role in the delivery and completion of high complex projects stemming from Retail and bank interiors and ground up projects through-out the Northeast, fiber connections, security, RTU’s, drive-up windows, MDF's, data centers, ATM’s, vaults, safety deposit boxes, all inspections, and final client approval. MICHAEL PALMIERI Project Manager Client Executive Mr. Palmieri has been in the construction and project management business for 25 years, and has been with The Venetian Group since its inception. During his career he has managed over 1,000 projects for Green Point Bank., and was point on many design builds and showroom projects in the New York Tri-City Area. He has built and supervised many luxury residential condominium projects, and countless residential renovations. The Venetian Group and Mr. Palmieri have managed over 1,000 projects for Chase Manhattan Bank, Bank of America, Citibank and Citizens Bank nationwide. Other project also includes: HBO, numerous restaurants and countless office fit outs.

Mr. Palmieri is a Senior Project Manager for the Venetian Group, his responsibilities include: assisting in managing estimating, final approval on purchasing, scheduling, qualifying contractors and he serves as the main point of contact when communicating with his project clients. Mr. Palmieri is active in this community and active with his children’s sports programs in Nassau County; he is also fluent in Italian.




MATTHEW WHELAN Senior Business Development Manager

Mr. Whelan joined The Venetian Group from the day the company opened its doors in 2012 and is currently serving as Senior Business Development Manager. His responsibilities include managing project documentation, completing project life cycle stages as well as contract management. Moreover, Mr. Whelan focuses on fostering established and mutually beneficial relationships with clients throughout the Northeast Region. Matthew is currently positioned at our headquarters in Mineola, New York. Having over 5 years in the industry, Matthew’s experience includes various types of interior construction projects in the retail/corporate, office, hospitality and industrial spaces. During his free time, Matthew enjoys working out, traveling, and playing beach volleyball. Matthew received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Webber International University School of Management and his Bachelor’s Degree from Stony Brook University School of Business.

ALESSANDRO CARRABS Controller

Mr. Carrabs has been with The Venetian Group since day one as the company Controller. He is responsible for managing and preparing all financial reports, monitoring and analyzing monthly operating results and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department. Mr. Carrabs’ expertise in managing financial information makes him a valued member of The Venetian Group family. Prior to joining The Venetian Group Alessandro was the controller for All Star Demolition Corp. from 2005-2011. Mr. Carrabs has over 11 years of experience in public accounting, supervising audits and dealing with a wide variety of clients across a broad range of industries and sizes. Alessandro received his Bachelor’s Degree from The New York Institute of Technology. Mr. Carrabs resides in Long Island with his wife; he is also fluent in Italian.
