Control Your Living Environment

Mitsubishi Electric is a global leader in the manufacture and supply of electrical and electronic

equipment for both commercial and residential applications, by bringing together our best people in

conjunction with our advanced technologies.

At Mitsubishi Electric, we understand that technology is the driving factor of change in our lives. By

bringing greater comfort to daily life, maximising the efficiency of business and keeping things running

across society. We integrate technology and innovation to bring changes for the better.

Our efforts to make indoor life more comfortable began in 1921, with the introduction of an electric fan.

It became an instant hit, and a little over 10 years later we started making coolers. The challenge of

creating air conditioning systems suitable to our wide ranging climate conditions led us to the

development of amazingly sophisticated, yet rugged systems, that can take the punishment of

constant use in virtually any condition in Australia. And to do so quietly, energy efficiently and with minimum

negative impact on the environment. For years and years on end.

From 1980 to the present day, the pace at which Mitsubishi Electric has introduced and refined

breakthrough technologies and products for the benefit of society, industry and individuals has been

nothing less than astonishing. These technologies include the world’s first large-scale LED screen for

sports arenas, the world’s largest CRT television screen for the consumer market, the world’s first spiral

escalator, the world’s fastest elevators, the antenna technology behind the world’s first commercial

in-flight internet service, solar cell technology, satellites and much more.

Today, Mitsubishi Electric is a global giant, with operations in 35 countries and more than 97,000

employees.

Our Commitment to quality, service, research and development has helped us gain a leading position in today’s marketplace.

History of Mitsubishi Electric

2.

Our Commitment to quality, service, research and development has helped us gain a leading position in today’s marketplace.

The MEQ Difference

Higher performance, lower power consumption and longer life...Simply meeting industry standards, however stringent, is not enough. Our aim is to exceed them. When it comes to comfort,

efficiency and durability, Mitsubishi Electric is distinctive, and in a very good way. We call it MEQ - Mitsubishi Electric Quality.

It is simply a different standard. The MEQ standard results in products at the leading edge of technology. Air conditioners that

consume minimal power and protect your investment through a long operational lifespan and can operate efficiently in extreme

weather conditions year in and year out.

Mitsubishi Electric Offers Three Important Advantages

Comfort - We create products designed to ensure that you will always be in perfect harmony with your surroundings.

Whichever model you choose from our ducted air conditioning range, you will be assured of exceptional comfort in every and all

operating conditions.

Efficiency - MEQ results in air-conditioners that are rated amongst the best in the industry in terms of quality and energy

efficiency. We strive for a perfect balance of performance, reliability, low power consumption and long operational life span. This

is complemented by continuous introduction of new technologies and components that further reduce energy requirements and

improve eco-friendliness.

Durability - MEQ is behind a mindset that goes to extremes to ensure higher quality products that protects your initial

investment over years of reliable service. We subject our indoor and outdoor units to rigorous durability testing, which includes

harsher temperature extremes than likely found anywhere in the world.

3.

Your ducted air conditioning system works to control the environment that you live

in. The outdoor unit, that contains the compressor, is located outside of the home and

supplies either cold or hot refrigerant to the indoor unit which is generally located in the

roof cavity of your home.

The indoor unit contains a fan that supplies either cold or hot air throughout a series of

ductwork, into various areas or zones within your home. You may have just one or multiple

zones within your home and your air conditioning specialist will help you to decide which

arrangement best suits your house, budget or lifestyle. The example we have used shows

a home with three zones where blue represents the bedrooms, purple the formal living

areas and yellow is the family room and kitchen. By having the flexibility to operate these

zones either individually or collectively you will be able to control your environment to suit

your lifestyle and save on energy costs all at the same time.

Ducted systems operate using recirculated air where the conditioned air is delivered to

each room via diffusers that are generally fitted in the ceiling. The air is then returned to

the indoor unit via a return air grille that is usually located in a central area within your

home. This return air grille should be fitted with a washable filter. This returned air is then

drawn back to the indoor unit where it is either heated or cooled and is then passed back

into your home via ductwork and diffusers.

Importantly, the only components of your ducted air conditioning system you will see are

the outdoor unit, the return air grille, the diffusers and the system controller. Most of the

other components are hidden away, keeping the look of your home aesthetically pleasing

but wonderfully cool in summer and warm in winter.

Mitsubishi Electric recommends that all ducting and components be insulated with a minimum of R 1.5.

Power Inverter Ducted SystemsLess energy consumption, more efficiency, extra comfort.

Advanced technology makes Mitsubishi Electric Power Inverters the premium choice for creating your living

environment. It provides energy savings when compared to non inverter models. The reason our Power Inverters

are more energy efficient is because the system output varies constantly to maintain your perfect living environment.

This means that a Power Inverter will cool or heat your home more rapidly and maintain the desired temperature

without fluctuations while using less energy.

Features of Mitsubishi Electric Power Inverter Ducted SystemsModels PEA-RP71 to PEA-RP140 require single phase power only, thereby lowering installation costs
