o A new global fund created to combat climate change by investing in low-emission and climate-resilient development
o Set up by United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) to keep global average temperature increase well below 2° C

• At B.18 Board took note of two approaches: 1) climate technology innovation systems; 2) targeted climate technology research, development &
