The majority of the buildings received new steel cladding to roofs and walls, gutter lining, internal office and toilet areasprovided and circulation areas received new surfacing. New buildings were constructed on driven concrete piledfoundations on the site of a former lodge.

Our specialist knowledge suggested that the building warranted commercial development. External features were lovinglyrestored and an internal steel frame provides mezzanine office accommodation. Modern commercial facilities in a delightfulpicturesque working environment - the best of both worlds.

A MIXTURE OF POOR STATE OF REPAIR AND AN UNPOPULAR LOCATION.OUR TEAM RECOGNISED THE CHALLENGE WAS MORE THAN COSMETIC AND WORKED CLOSELY WITH THE CLIENTTO CREATE TRULY DESIRABLE, AFFORDABLE HOMES.

The secret was to adopt a contemporary look-and-feel, inside and out. The structure was stripped out, raised to meetcurrent insulation and building regulations, and fully refurbished. All within a very restricted working space and within atight time schedule. Today, Kersal Close is a popular, quality building - and a very sound investment.

MERCURY COURT - LIVERPOOLMERCURY COURT IS A VERY LARGE, MULTI OCCUPANCY COMMERCIAL STRUCTURE RIGHT IN THE HEART OFLIVERPOOL CITY CENTRE.

Refurbishment of this busy building had to be performed within sixteen weeks, operating on several floors, with all the noise,heath & safety and cleanliness issues associated with working in an occupied building. Inevitably, management of materialsand debris involved innovative solutions and complex logistics.

The client, North West Development Agency, was so delighted with our professionalism that they invited us to work on othermajor related projects.

ST MARYS CHAMBERSTHIS IMPRESSIVE GRADE II LISTED BUILDING HAS A LONG LOCAL HISTORY. FORMERLY A METHODIST CHURCHBUILT IN 1856, IN WWII IT BECAME AN AIR RAID ASSEMBLY POINT AND FOR MANY YEARS WAS THE MEETING PLACEOF THE LOCAL OLD AGE PENSIONER ASSOCIATION, UNTIL ITS RUINOUS STATE OF REPAIR MADE IT IMPOSSIBLE TOMAINTAIN.

Boys’ came to the rescue, lovingly restoring the building and maintaining all its fine external features. We created a purposebuilt conference and banqueting suite, together with modern office facilities for leading local businesses. And we made surethe organisation, now known as the Senior Citizens Association, retained its rights for usage. A win for an aesthetically finebuilding, a win for local business and a win for the neighbouring community.
