STAYING INFORMED It is now more important than ever to ensure your contact details are up to date. It is essential we have contact details for our families in the case that we need to undertake home based learning. If we are required to conduct remote learning during term 2, our school phone and email will be checked and responded to regularly. You can leave a voicemail message or email which will be forwarded to the appropriate person to ensure our students can proceed with their education and our families can stay informed.

Coral Park Primary School Phone: 9702 8398 Email: [email protected] YEAR 6 TO YEAR 7 TRANSITION Transition packs for year 6 students are currently being prepared to be sent home next term. Application forms for Year 7 placement for 2021 need to be completed and returned to Coral Park Primary School by Friday 15th May 2020. PREP CSEF UNIFORM PACKAGE In 2020, every Prep student who receives the Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) payment is eligible to receive selected school items free of charge through State Schools’ Relief (SSR). Order forms and further information will be sent home next term and all order forms will need to be completed and returned by Friday 26th June. HOLIDAY BREAK The school holidays are a great time for kids to unwind and enjoy a change from their structured school day. Staying at home these school holidays will provide a fabulous opportunity for kids to enjoy free play and develop their imaginations. As well as participating in role play and imaginative games, encourage your children to read books, play board games and explore around the yard. If they are looking for additional activities over the holidays, consider cooking with them, playing some physical games or suggest they keep a diary. They can record things such as the weather, how they feel and develop their literacy skills by undertaking some creative story writing. There are some great ideas online which may appeal to your children, and of course they are sure to enjoy a family movie night at home on the couch!

We encourage you to maintain high levels of hygiene at home with your family in order to remain as healthy and safe as possible. Cover your nose when you sneeze, throw tissues away immediately after use and wash your hands often. Also clean frequently touched surfaces regularly, drink plenty of water and maintain a healthy diet.
