Corporate Dressing for Women

Treat your business clothing as an investment and choose wisely. Make sure you buy classic styles that suit your body shape, are comfortable, have quality workmanship and quality material.

For business/corporate situations match your handbag , shoes and belt. Black shoes should be matched with a black handbag.

Corporate Dressing for WomenKeep shoes in a good state of repair. Scuffed shoes with worn heels will ruin the look of your outfit.

Always wear a belt where there are belt loops . Choose a good quality leather belt and don't be tempted to wear a flashy or plastic belt. If you don't like belts choose pants without loops Shoes OR Sandals Shoes with 1.5 inch heels are standard. You may wear a pair with smaller heels or a flat pair. Stick with a Black or Brown pair. Make sure that your shoes are polished and heels are intact.

Accessories Earrings: Wear Small Ones Do not wear hoops OR Dangling earrings.

Rings: Keep them simple and sober but not chunky. Do not wear Ornamental / chunky jewelry even if it is an occasion in the office. .

Chains: You may wear thin chains with small lockets.

A suit in shades of black, gray or dark blue, in either a solid color or with pinstripes is acceptable for formal business-wear.

The shirt should be a light color or a crisp white when the suit is dark. The sleeves of the shirt and blazer should reach the wrist. Do not roll up shirtsleeves as it can be viewed as informal.

Ties should be made of silk or a similar material and can include a color and print which provide an attractive contrast when viewed against the shirt and blazer. Stay away from loud patterns, cartoon characters and novelty prints.

Corporate Dressing for men

Choose socks to match the color of the pants or shoes. They should reach around the height of the calf. Socks made from natural materials will aid in wicking away excess moisture.

Shoes should be somewhat formal and always cleaned with a good shoe polish. When unsure, choose black leather shoes with laces since they can easily go with most styles.

The style of the belt should compliment the material and style of the shoes.

Jewelry for men should generally be limited to one ring on each hand at most, and a formal style watch. Avoid earrings and necklaces. A necklace with a religious symbol should be tucked inside the shirt so as not to be visible.

Corporate Dressing for menChoose a light and fresh body spray. For colognes, either use a light variety in a small amount or none at all. Make sure that the fragrance is not overpowering and test it out a day before the interview by asking for someones feedback.
