Today guests will wake up and complete an activity (yet to
be decided) followed by a long lunch at Oakwood.
FRIDAY 14th
APRILARRIVAL Guests will arrive at Oakwood and settle into their
accommodation. Guests will then be transferred to
La Rumbla for dinner

Lunch at Amisfield for 10 guests followed by a film at Dorothy
Browns.

DEPART After a leisurely breakfast at the accommodation, guests will
depart Queenstown.
Millbrook Resort provides first class Queenstown accommodation and is the ultimate in five

Deluxe StudioThese luxurious and spacious deluxe studio rooms are nestled between the babbling mill stream and the stunning Fairwayof the Arrow 9. Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac just minutes from the resort centre and surrounded by flora and fauna, eachdeluxe studio has a French provincial decor, a king bed, flat screen TV and a patio or balcony with views over thesurrounding mountains, golf course or Millbrook grounds.
One Bedroom SuitePerfect for those who like some more space to relax, whilst enjoying all the five star luxury of a world class resort.These luxurious suites are ideally located close to the resort centre and have a large ensuite bathroom, with separatebath and shower, and a choice of either a spacious lounge or fully-equipped kitchen. Each lounge area has a flat screenTV, gas fireplace and a balcony or courtyard with alpine views. The fully-equipped kitchen offers all the conveniences ofhome and allow for in room dining.
Two Bedroom SuiteThese two bedroom suites are the perfect choice for four friends.These luxurious suites are ideally located close to the resort centre and both bedrooms have a large ensuite bathroom, aspacious lounge and a fully-equipped kitchen. Perfect for those who might like to cater for themselves whilst enjoying thefacilities of a five star resort.
CottagesThese 2, 3 & 4 bedroom self-contained cottages are perfect for a group of friends or family wanting to stay together.Each cottage is individually designed and decorated and has all the comforts of a 'home-away-from-home'.
All our cottages have a fully-equipped kitchen, spacious lounge area, flat screen TV, stereo, and spacious outdoor areasoverlooking the greens, fairways and surrounding mountains. Each cottage has its bespoke luxurious interior and all offermagnificent views.
Millbrook Resort in-house guests receive complimentary use of the health and fitness centre, courtesy shuttle to/fromQueenstown and Arrowtown, preferential rates for golf green fees and complimentary wi-fi during your stay.

Arranging a fleet of campervans to
accommodate your guests on the
grounds would be a fantastic option
and ensures all the party remain
together for the gathering whilst
adding a twist to the usual hotel
room.
A four berth Cascade Motorhome
would be a perfect option for a
couple as this provides a little extra
room for added comfort and all of
the essential facilities including
shower, toilet and lounge area.
Minimum rental periods of 7 nights
apply over this period.

Give your guests a really truly memorable and unique overnight experience. “Glamping” enables our
guests to experience New Zealand’s great outdoors while still enjoying a luxurious experience.
Our personal camp will deliver you inspiring scenery within the South Island of New Zealand. Here you
will “nest” in your own private residence to allow you to disconnect and unwind from busy day to day
life.
Wake up between cotton sheets and under a cosy duvet to the sound of nature and morning light.
Start your day off with a hot shower in the camp bathroom, enjoy your morning breakfast before
heading off for a walk or adventure, or simply sleep in, read a book and relax. This amazing
experience includes 5 star standard tents, heating inside each tent, bedding and amenities
Guests will arrive at Oakwood and be greeted by
a Touch of Spice team member. We will help
carry guests bags to their rooms/tents to settle in.
Guests will then be able to relax with a glass of
wine and some cheese served by a waiter
before getting ready for the evening.
When everyone is ready guests will be transferred
to Arrortown for dinner. Guests can simply
wander the streets as you walk back in time
before sitting at La Rumbla for dinner.
Great wine, cocktails, food, service and music all
in the one place. Guest can relax and enjoy their
first dinner together before being transferred
back to their accommodation.
FRIDAY 14TH APRIL HISTORIC ARROWTOWN & DINNER AT LA RUMBLA
Enjoy a leisurely morning cycling along the Arrow Riverand Gibbston River tails. Guests will be collected in the
morning, and driven to Arrowtown where you will befitted onto your bike. Heights, weights and riding abilitiesrequired prior to departure. You are able to pay extra toupgrade to electronic bikes.
You will set off from Dudley’s Cottage Arrowtown alongthe beautiful Arrow River taking in the iconic sceneryCentral Otago is renown for. An hour later you will arriveat the Bungy Bridge. Throw someone off? Up to you!Continue along another 15 minutes and you will arrive at
Gibbston Valley for a wine tasting.
Enjoy a further 15 minute cycle and arrive at Peregrinewinery for a second wine tasting at the award wining
vineyard as well as a behind the scenes tour. Continuefor a further 15 minutes to reach Kinross Cottages. Enjoya wine tasting of over 5 different wineries in the cellardoor and then relax in the sun enjoying a lovely cheese
and antipasto platter for brunch
Upon completion of your adventure, you’ll be picked upand transported you back to your accommodation.
This is a guided trip with experienced guides, transport
will be available all day for those who choose to stopcycling. All guest will be dropped back to Queenstownby mid afternoon. Wine tastings, lunch, guides, bikes,helmets and transport all included.
SATURDAY 15TH APRIL – ACTIVITY OPTION 1 ARROW & GIBBSTON RIVER CYCLE TRAILS
The following option including an alpine breakfastprepared by the chef may be preferred.
Depart from the grounds of Oakwood by Helicopter forMt Nicholas, landing high on the ridge greeted by yourguide with a glass of champagne before heading offalong the ridge looking down over the Southern Alps.
After a 45 minute walk you will be greeted by your alpinebreakfast served in a phenomenal location.
As a surprise we would set up a sit down breakfast on theridge. With the chef preparing amazing platters for
breakfast.
After breakfast there is the option to take a short walk ordepart straight back to Queenstown, landing back at
Oakwood

Relax having breakfast at the new
Artisan & Akarua kitchen before
walking Sawpit Gully looking at the
beautiful views Queenstown has to
offer. We can organise transport to
and from Akarua, booking the table
and providing trail maps for your hike.
For all 3 options we will also provide
each guest with a personalised water
bottle to keep them hydrated along
the way
SATURDAY 15TH APRILLONG LUNCH – TEEPEE
Guests will arrive back at the
property to a modern teepee
beautifully crafted from canvas
and wood. Designed to make a
truly stunning space which is both
cosy and versatile. The giant
Nordic tipis are made in ‘Sune’
Sweden and are based on the
early nomadic tipi or teepee
used by the ‘Sami’ people.
Lifting the sides of these amazing
tipis is a perfect way to welcome
your guests for the long lunch
allowing them to take in the
beautiful surroundings whilst still
being cosy and warm.
SATURDAY 15TH APRILLONG LUNCH – LUNCH STYLING
Warm autumn colours will be
infused throughout your lunch
setting, from the rustic wooden
table and beautifully crafted
chairs, to the candles and subtle
mix of the natural elements used
across the table to create a
natural elegance.
Festoons will be strung from
above so when the sun beings to
set toward the end of your lunch
you can enjoy the welcoming
light.
SATURDAY 15TH APRILLONG LUNCH – FIRE PIT STYLING
After lunch guests can relax by
the fire pit, feeling very cosy with
fur blankets, soft cushions and the
warm fire. We can make this area
feel cosy with lots of candles and
furs. Maybe guests can even
toast a few marshmallows!
We will create a stretch tent to
cover this area as a shade or wet
weather safety.

Start the morning at your leisure (we
can organise transfers in to
Queenstown for the guests who
want to explore etc.) before
heading to the famous Amisfield for
Lunch.
Once guests have experience the
Trust the Chef menu with a few
wines guests will be transferred to
Dorothy Browns for a private
screening of a film of your choice
before returning back to the
accommodation.
