JULY 26, 2015
The Liturgy of the Day
Today and the next four
Sundays we interrupt the
Gospels from Mark to hear five
passages from the Gospel
according to Saint John. All of
these Gospel passages have to
do with Jesus feeding a large
crowd and the Bread of Life
Discourse that follows. So let
us prepare ourselves for a
midsummer course on the
meaning of the Eucharist.
a la Liturgia del Día
Hoy y durante los cuatro
próximos domingos
interrumpimos el Evangelio de
Marcos para escuchar cinco
pasajes del Evangelio según san
Juan. Todos estos pasajes del
Evangelio tratan sobre cómo
Jesús le da de comer a una
multitud y sobre el discurso del
Pan de Vida que le sigue.
Preparémonos, por tanto, para
recibir un curso de verano sobre
el significado de la Eucaristía.

Question of the Week
What are my “loaves and fish”?
What are the humble gifts I could
place in Jesus’ hands this week to
satisfy the hunger of my own
family and friends, of others, who
until I share are strangers to me?

Beginning this Monday, July 27th Daily
Mass will be held in the Old Church as
renovations will resume until further
notice.
"PRAYING WITH OTHERS"
Based upon "Christian Healing Ministries” School of Healing Prayer. These
teachings begin with the Scriptural Foundations for Healing and the History of
Healing in the Church, and how the Gifts of the Holy Spirit are related to healing
prayer. A sample of other topics include: Healing Our Image of God, Praying for
Physical Healing, Introduction to Inner Healing and The Healing Power of
Forgiveness.
Historically, it is simply not true that healing ceased with the apostles. These
teachings are remarkable. You do not need to feel called to a healing ministry to
attend. Some people may feel led in that way, but it is not necessary. Whether you
are just interested in information, or you are looking for an experience that can
change your life as well as others, the Lord provides generously.
