HICKORY PARK

Acquired by New Hanover Town-ship in 2010 with the help of

a Montgomery County open space grant, Hickory Park is a well-known destination that has been the source of fond memories for generations of residents.

Located on Route 73 near the Route 663 intersection, Hickory Park is nearly 21 acres of wooded area and open fields alongside Swamp Creek. A newly refurbished pool, pavilions, and new playground equipment ensure there are plenty of activities for every-one, whether you are hosting a family reunion or just bringing the kids for some play time.

Pool MembershipThe park is open year-round, dawn to dusk.

The pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, 12 Noon to 7:00 PM daily.

Season tickets for the pool may be purchased at the Township Building, Monday-Friday, between the hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm.

If you reserve a picnic pavilion and wish to go swimming, your entire group will receive $1.00 off the daily rate fee. In order to receive the discounted rate, you must present a copy of the pavilion reservation form to the front desk. This discount only applies to the day of your rental.

All pavilions, except the entertainment and food service pavilions, have picnic tables. Pavilions are available for rent year-round.
