CUE founded in 1925 is the largest school of economics in Poland, and the third biggest university in Krakow, which is the main Polish academic center. The number of students currently enrolled at the University exceeds 23 000. University 17 acre campus is located in the vicinity of historical medieval Old Town of Krakow, and is easily accessible both on foot and by public transportation. In addition to the main campus in Krakow, the University also has Remote Teaching Centers in different cities of the region. Student life and services. A number of organizations and student associations are active at the University. These include to name a few the Student Government, the Independent Students Association, AIESEC (International Association of Economics and Commerce Students), ESN (Erasmus Student Network), SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise), the University Club of the Academic Sport Association, Dominanta Choir and many more. managers who are able to create a modern, flexible and effective marketing strategies company. In particular, companies needprofessionals responsible for technology, market development and product quality and building the brand image of the product.Development for the company as the value of the product offered to the customer and satisfying their needs is the primarychallenge of the market. There is therefore the need to train a new type of manager who will be able to manage the product,or put it on the market, sold through various distribution channels and create his image. This courseis in response to the growingdemand for specialists in business practices responsible for the technology, market development and quality of the product andits brand image.In terms of learning a large emphasis is placed on issues of product innovation and adapt to the needs andexpectations of the consumer, and thus have the basic determinants of competition. This course educates and prepares studentsfor management (design) of product innovations with market needs and innovative solutions for the enterprise market behavior(use of marketing instruments and quality). Graduate will actively, creatively and effectively operate in a market economy. r descriptionCracow University of Economics’ innovative Doctoral Studies in Economics, Finance and Management (EFM) is a part-

time Ph.D. programme designed for candidates with substantial professional knowledge and skills. Its aim is to educatefuture researchers, teachers and professionals, and to contribute to the development and application of scientificknowledge at an international level. The programme is addressed to those who wish to extend their understanding ofeconomics, finance or management studies, and to acquire the skills necessary to cope with challenges in the post-crisisenvironment.Doctoral students will spend the first two years of the Ph.D. programme exploring their interests through thecore coursework. During the year that follows, students will select and pursue one of the two study profiles: Economicsand Finance or Management.

The minimum level of the English language knowledge required for the PhD programme is B2 (according to theEuropean Council).

r descriptionThe English Track Programme is open to short term internationa and Polish students.Individual and exchange students

of both undergraduate and graduate level can come to study at CUE for one or two semesters.Business Studies is an optionin the English Track Programme to study business in the English language. The course selection cuts through a number ofdisciplines: business,economics, finance, marketing, management, law, social and political relations, with a focus on therealities of Poland and Central and Eastern Europe. Courses are given by leading CUE professors, lecturers from partneruniversities worldwide as well as professionals and successful practitioners.Additionally, students can choose courses fromother English Track paths. The use of ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) credits facilitates recognition of courses takenin the English Track programme by students at their home universities. Business Studies Certificate will be issued to thosestudents who collect 29- 30 ECTS points per semester. Those who obtain fewer ECTS will receive transcript of records.

r descriptionThe Preparatory Course has been designed to give students a solid foundation of the English language and vocabulary

used in economics before taking up BSc or MSc regular studies. This one year programme gives an opportunity to adoptto a new place, get to know Polish culture and language. It is a great way to start studies at Cracow University of Economics.

The benefits of Preparatory Course:• improve the English language from level B1 to B2 and learn basic Polish• improve mathematics and multicultural skills which will be an integral part of the future studies• simplify adaptation process to a new environment• use all the University's facilities - the library, computer labs and sport facilities• enjoy help of mentors - Polish students who offer assistance during your stay in Krakow• meet students from all around the World• participate in cultural activities such as Cracow tour, museum visits, concerts
